Not me and DH. We were definitely one of the younger set at the concert last night. :lmao:

Better than not going! I just want to find out where a place is. I got in touch with someone in FL who is looking into facilities. Evidently the place my Dr. found is only for homebound people, but she is helping.

I hope they find someplace that isnt to far away. You would think there were plenty of medical facilities around for that kind of issue.

OMG!

I'm so far behind on my email it isn't funny. I just came across a notification that Fran fowarded me on March 31st. We have tickets to Forbidden Broadway tonight! Thankfully it's at the CSULB theater, but we would have forgotten if I didn't see this email! :rotfl:

Yes, I am that dingy right now!

LAST night, for Burt Bacharach, I thought the concert started at 8 pm. When I checked the tickets, there was a time of 7 pm on the tix.
And then we headed in towards the Arts Centre because I thought the concert was there. When we got there, we realised that Burt was NOT there and I checked the tickets again.
The concert was being held at the Regent Theatre, less than 1 km walk away.

We got there just on the nick of 7 pm......

...only to find out that 7 pm was the time of the theatre being opened. Doors into the hall opened at 7.30 pm and the concert did indeed start at 8 pm.

Even DH was amazed that I missed all that detail. I can only put it down to not feeling 100%.

:faint:

Afternoon. Got ym bike ride in, mostly sunny, terrible headwind to grind through.

WOW! I was just going to post OF COURSE she is up for going, when I got a call from her. She sent me to Costco. She said if I didn't want to go we didn't have to rush around and we could just stay home. Her leg must hurt. We canceled a Club dinner on Wednesday night.

PIO, I would be in sooooooo much trouble if I didn't know everything!

Maybe they put 7pm on the tickets so all the old fogies attending still make it :rolleyes1

I never claim to know everything....it's just that I'm nearly always right.

Can't get into trouble with this claim. :thumbsup2

When I looked at the tix, I thought they put 7pm because anything past 9 pm would be beyond Burt's bedtime. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

The person I felt the sorriest for was my MiL. She was babysitting DS and had expected us to come home early with a 7 pm start time. We did try to call at 7.30 but they were still out; and we figured we'd call at half time. There was no half time.

Hope that Fran and you rest up. Better to forego some concert now and make it to the World.

Do you think the trip took a lot out of Fran? It sounds stressfull. It took me a while to read about the meetings, mostly because of this distrating picture nearby.

OR do you think the dressing change agitated her leg?

I wasn't all that keen on it when she was surfing for these tickets. It was a month until our trip and we had the dumb Vegas thing in the middle. Besides the whole wound thing was just starting. I didn't want extra stuff to think about much less take us out of the house.

Now I can work on the apartment website and try to get the 50+ shows off out TIVO!

I think it's a little of both. While she hated to go, I appreciated having a better understanding of the situation. Not that I have enough knowledge to teach a class or anything, but at least I could understand it well enough to relay the information to people enough that we're screwed.

I take it you liked the BlackJack dealer! :lmao: What was weird was that someone actually programmed her anatomy to twitch or flinch every so often. That kept catching my attention because it was so unnatural! :rotfl2:

That's what my DBF says :rolleyes1

And he's right....

usually.....

and when he's wrong I rub it in....bad..... :rolleyes1
