I am staying off-site in our timeshare at Orange Lake Country Club.
We always rent a car whether on/off site.
My husband is always with us except for this trip he is coming in two days after our arrival (my mom, 2 kids and dd's friend).
I cannot drive around the block without getting lost therefore, I have rented a GPS system to hopefully lessen the hours of driving in circles :rotfl2:
I do believe I can get to WDW property from OLCC since it is very, very close but I do fear coming home in the evening or at night.
Is there a specific address I can type in from WDW so say, for instace, I am at TTC and need to get to OLCC. I will have OLCC address but not TTC.
Should I just drive to a hotel every time I have to go back home :headache:
Yes, I can take cabs, money really isn't the issue, it is more convenience of having our car, foodshopping, etc.
Thank you.

When you have a nav. system, you can usually mark locations you're at currently, and the system can store that location for future use. You can also type the address of the OLCC address in and have the system save that until you're done using it.

Also, I'd probably just find out the address of the Polynesian resort, since it is literally next door to the TTC. If you input that address in, you will probably drive right by the TTC to get to the Poly. You can get the Poly's address using Google, or probably on this site somewhere.

Remember, though, you will have to go through the MK parking collection booths to get to the TTC. It's very difficult not to find MK once you start seeing WDW signs, and WDW signs are all over the southwest Orlando area. I think you'll be fine with simply having the OLCC address in your nav. system.

John, thank you.
How can I "mark location" I am currently in? Do I not need to know the exact address? Once I am on Disney property I am fine (to a certain extent). I am a bit worried getting from Disney property to OLCC.
If I am at TTC, do I just press a magic button and the GPS finds where I am and saves it? :confused3
Are they difficult to program when I first get it from the rental agency?
Thank you.

A GPS does not really need to know the numerical address where you are at when you are going someplace. It 'just knows where you are'. If you just put in the numerical address where you are going to, it will give you directions how to get here from where you are at any moment. I use mine here all the time.

Isn't Orange Lake Country Club right there on US192? If that's the place, you simply drive west on US192 until you see the sign for Magic Kingdom, hop on World Drive (the main Disney expressway) and follow the Magic Kingdom or other Disney signs to whatever destination you're going to. Very, very simple.

Going back at night from anywhere in Disney couldn't be easier. Simply follow the signs for the I-4 or US192 direction and when you get to the actual exit for US192, take US192 "WEST" and you'll be right back at Orange Lake in minutes.

You really don't need a GPS if you're staying at Orange Lake, IMO.
