GPS Question

Hi!

I'm looking at the TomTom GPS offered in the Target BF ad. Does anyone know if there are any 'hidden' fees in the price? Or service fees to make it work? I always use my phone so i'm not sure how the GPS systems work and if you have to pay a provider.

I have a Tom Tom GPS (not the same model). There aren't any hidden fees to make it work. You just plug it in and go...it's very self explantatory. There *may* be a charge, every now and then, for upgraded software. I had a very hard time getting mine to work with my Mac, so I wasn't able to explore all of the online options for it. I did change the voice on mine, and I think some of the voices may have had an additional charge, and I'm sure they had offers of other things you can upgrade to. We haven't paid for a thing above the price of the gps.

Overall, we've been very happy with it for the price. We don't have one of the super-expensive models and it works just fine.
