GPS Device May Have Cost Woman Disney Job

OYE OYE, in case you all missed my previous post, I figured I'd just go ahead and settle it by calling her Probation Officer directly to get the scoop- It was confirmed that the purpose of this lady's house arrest was as an alternative sentence to a 59 days in jail for Violation of Probation. done and done. :upsidedow

Thanks for your informative posts:).

Not all the monitoring bracelets are installed for criminal offenses. Kentucky just passed a law that allows them to be used in certain circumstances when a restraining order is issued. In this case, the person has not committed a crime. Using your definition should this person still be allowed to work?
NO WAY would a person, not charged with any type of crime, be made to wear a monitoring device! There would have to be prior offenses against that person to make them wear a device! What happens if an ex goes cuckoo on you and you have to wear that because they want revenge?
Nobody has been forced to do it yet but it was recently passed into law. Of course it has to be by a judge's order and I'm sure they will certainly demand proof of need for it.
