Gown Steaming

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN GET MY BRIDE AND BRIDESMAIDS DRESSES STEAMED/PRESSED AS THE ONLY ONE I'VE HEARD ABOUT IS CAROLYN ALLENS? ARE THERE ANYMORE GOOD ONES AROUND THAT WILL COME TO YOUR HOTEL ROOM??

Carolyn Allens is by far the most popular. Its not too expensive and she comes to your room-- super nice lady!! You can look at her website carolynallens.com (I think) and inquire about it and she will get back to you and let you know how much it will be.

Disney only lists two dress pressers/steamers. Carolyn Allen's Bridal Shop is one. The other is Absolutely Fitting (www.absolutelyfitting.com). I haven't read much about the latter and didn't pursue them because Carolyn Allen was available (costs $65).

I used carolyn Allen back in 1997 & they were great.....I still remember walking into my room at WL & shutting the door & BOOM....there it was in all its glory...MY DRESS...PERFECT!!
My DH got his tux there also....not sure if they still rent tuxes, but it worked out VERY well.

Nice to see they still do DFTW...10+years w/WDW is a good sign

I used Absolutely Fitting for my dress steaming, as well as my mothers' dress and those of a few bridesmaids. They did a fabulous job, I highly recommend them.

I also used Carolyn Allen's for my gown and DF's suit. They steamed my gown, veil, shawl, and his jacket, pants, shirt, and tie. One of the buttons on the sleeve of his jacket had fallen off (of course we didn't notice), so she whipped out needle and thread and took a button from the inside and replaced it instantaneously. Plus they show up at your room. Highly recommended!

Loved Carolyn Allen's. I actually shipped my dress b/c it was way to much work to carry all of that with everything else. They were wonderful every time we have used them!

We are using carolyn Allen's also but I have heard some great things about absolutely fitting as well.
