Gotta Love the Waitlist

I was disappointed (but knew it was a long shot) when I called MS 2 weeks ago to book the 1st week of August and couldn't get a studio. I waitlisted at BCV, BWV and VWL. I booked PopCentury for $79 a night (more than the cost of my DVC room) but couldn't decide if I would be happy there. I thought of cancelling the trip.

Well today MS called and I have a choice of BCV and VWL. Oh decisions, decisions. I will wrestle with it all night.

I love that DVC has the waitlist system to maximum use.

Good For You! i love happy endings ! with aug. being sooo hot and crowded in the parks i would go with the BCV, its like your very own waterpark at your resort, plus you have lots of places to choose from to eat at, just a short walk away !

Have a big pro list for each resort and still can't decide. I am leaning toward VWL as I call that the "moomies only" resort to my DD. I love the peace and tranquility. (I'm going solo). On the the other hand SAB and walking to Epcot is so appealing, guess I'll decide in the next few hours.


Interesting aside.....although you can only hold 1 room with your points I guess you can hold 2 waitlist rooms for 24 hours.

As I've said before...you gotta love it when a plan comes together. I just love the waitlist. Twice it has worked for me and I haven't even had my first trip home yet!!!! Let us know what you decide on!!

Good for you - I love that waitlist too! I was able to get into SSR at the exact 30 day mark after being on the waitlist for only 2 weeks. We jumped on it in a second!

Well, I decide but that's not where I ended up. I called in and seemed a little hesitant (in 24 hours I was still torn ), I picked VWL. The MS person recommended I do BCV instead. Obviously that was the sign I was waiting for (who knows, maybe VWL had a long WL).

So, I'll be at BCV enjoying SAB and my walk to Epcot and Jellyrolls.

I will do solo trips in the future, and BCV will definitely be my choice. I loved taking the boat to MGM! It was like I never left the BCV because it was so close.
