Here's a list of the places I am thinking of trying on our August trip. The only place I've been to before is Liberty Tree Tavern. The others are all new. I'm slowly going to eat my way around the world.

Concourse Steakhouse
Chefs de France
Coral Reef
Rain Forrest Cafe
CRT (princess breakfast)
50's Prime Time
Mitsukashi Teppanyaki
Mama Melrose's
Liberty Tree Tavern (character dinner)

Are there any I should reconsider? :confused3

Most of them sound good to me. The only one I would reconsider is Chefs de France. We had a terrible experience there in July. They brought our appetizers, then the kids food (fine), however we had a 50 minutes wait between our appetizers and dinner - even though we asked repeatedly- and then the food was cold. DH and I were too annoyed to even send it back. THe waitress really had an attitude too. We are not picky, or hard to please. THis and Tony's were the only restaurants we won't go back too. We even gave Tony's a second chance, but won't do that with CHefs De France.

We love some of your choices RFC, Prime Time Cafe, Mama Melrose, CRT

Have fun deciding!

I don't think CRT is considered a Princess breakfast anymore. Its only Cinderella and she's only in the lobby, plus now its 2 dining credits per person. But if eating in the castle is a dream than by all means go for it. Plus they give you a picture package. But to me still not worth it.

Concourse Steakhouse. Love it Love it Love it. To me its the sleeper restaurant of Disney. Been about 5 times since Sept 04 and never had a bad meal.

I'm also going to mention (although I am sure you know) that I don't believe RFC is included in the Dining plan, so you would have to pay out of pocket for that.
Otherwise, I second the Le Cellier suggestion (our absolute favorite food of our trip, Cali Grill was our favorite atmosphere, but mostly b/c of the fireworks.)

Thanks for the suggestions. We did Le Cellier on our last trip it was really good and I loved Marrakesh as well but I can't try all the restaraunts at Disney if I keep eating at the same ones! :goodvibes Yes, we are repeating the Liberty Tree Tavern. I wanted to do another character dinner and learned on our last trip that doing buffets with 4 little kids and DH in a wheelchair was a nightmare. I didn't sit down the entire time. :sad2: Plus, we all enjoyed LTT and I love Thanksgiving food. :teeth:

Since we are doing CRT (2 TS credits) and we want to do at least one TS per day we are going to pay for one out of pocket. I have wanted to try the RFC for a long time and thought this would be perfect for our out of pocket meal. :thumbsup2

we have found the service at RFC at DTD has gone downhill over the last 3 years, this year we are going to try the AK one as this has better reviews ..... it's such a shame as the food is good here, but the service sucks and the meal costs to much money to have dire service.

I had the chicken quesadillas and when it arrived the chicken wasn't cooked properly when I mentioned this to the waitress she said they'd pop it back on the grill and reheat it ....gross!! When I said that this really wasn't a great idea as it'd risk salmonella, she said ok, and walked away ....huh?? At the end of the meal they deducted my meal from the cost, rightly so and her parting comment was "hope to see you again soon, and you know next time not to order the quesadillas!!" WTH?? I was speechless, so mouthing like aqgoldfish my DH gently shoved me out of the restaurant...;) bizarre!

Anyway just my thoughts, enjoy

Val
