I wish Mark the best on his surgery. I wish Joe would be able to recover that fast but there is no way, according to the doctors.

We will be there Sept 10 - Sept 20th. I can't remember, do our dates cross at all? Would be awesome to be able to meet and say HI!!!!

Well, Mark will be limited on his rides, but we're hoping he won't have trouble walking (the doctor said no). We are there September 17 - 21; so we'll have to see if we are at the same park on one of the days and maybe hook up somewhere. I would love to be able to meet you and Joe and say hi.

I have been absent from the DIS over the last few days but hope to do some catching up this weekend.

This weekend is our church festival. Best Greek food in Cleveland!!! Yay!! I can't wait! Gonna make a Dis meet out of it too! I'm going to meet Elizabeth (charming23) tomorrow! Yay, for a Dis meet!!!

I am hoping to be able to begin posting my updated packing lists and get suggestions from everyone on what I've missed and stuff like that. I plan to start, hopefully this weekend.

Next week is going to be super busy for us. I will let you all know how Joe does post surgery. I'll be working from home for about 2 weeks after that so that I can be here for him.

The plan was to do Extra Magic Hours at the MK; however, if we do the halloween party on the 18th (Saturday), then we would make Sunday night, the 19th, our Downtown Disney night and we could meet you for a drink prior to dinner or whatever.

Joe had back surgery today. It looks like things went well. I'm not sure when he will be able to come home but we're hoping in the next couple of days.

Once he gets home, it will be back to vacation planning!!!!!!

He has a number of things wrong but the doctor tackled the one thing that we had hoped would allow him to have less pain and to actually be able to feel his foot, etc. They went in and took away a good amount of scar tissue to make room for the nerves. He has a number of other disk issues however the doctor said that he will have lifelong back issues and we could not tackle everything now. So far, things seem to be going well. He is having an issue getting comfortable though. I am SO glad that I got him a cane though. It's helped him get up and down a lot!

Glad the surgery went well for Joe.

Thanks Elizabeth. When Joe is feeling better I'd like to have you over. I wanted to tell you again how nice it was to meet you and your family last weekend!

I think first timers think there is no way that staying on property is affordable or a good deal so they don't even check. I know I have had a couple friends ask about it and are shocked to find out how much we are paying (or lack thereof) to stay on property.

I want to see Spectro and Wishes too. I am currently redoing our plans (need to get busy on that) but pretty much leaving our evenings more open to do as we want. I am hoping I can get back to MK (thankfully we have PH) so we can pop over to see them, even if it is only one per night since we have several nights where they are showing, just not together. I think there is one or two nights the whole week inwhich they are showing together.

Stubby Steve--such a cutie!! Wow, he is so teeny tiny! I hope he is growing like crazy and the other cats are behaving with him.

WS: I hope we can spend a full day there, wondering around exploring! I want to do pick-a-pearl too. Never done it before but I do love pearls (my love affair started later in life). I would love to see some of the country shows and entertainers. VOL is a definite.

Good to know Maya Grill is good--I will keep that in mind in case I cannot get my group moving to go to an ADR.

I love your flowers! When we are at our own house, I cannot wait to dig into the garden and really put something together I love.

My dad had to have a hip-replacement a few years back and was on bed rest for 3 months; it was hard on my mom, so I definitely understand how stressed you are! But, just think that once he's doing better, it'll be smooth sailing until your trip!!!

It's amazing to me how little planning people do when they go to Disney. I think what amazes me the most is that they think that they can see it all in a DAY per park.

Most of the time I try and see Spectro and Wishes on the same night but that's hard to do sometimes!

I hope that we can meet up and say hello. We're getting closer to our trip dates so I'm anxious to see what our schedules look like and if we will be able to meet in person.

Maya is wonderful. Joe and I can't wait to go back!

I wanted to post a picture of my DIS meet with Elizabeth. We had dueling cameras going so we're both looking in different directions.

I really had a nice time meeting Elizabeth and her family. We were texting each other so that we could figure out exactly where to meet in the church hall. I totally forgot that the reception in there sucks so poor Elizabeth had to keep running outside to check her phone! I felt so bad.

Anyway, we enjoyed some Loukoumathes together and I was pleased to learn that she loves them as much as I do!

I was in dire need of a dye job so no snickering at my hair people!

Once Joe feels better, I am hoping that Elizabeth came come over and meet the rest of the family...the furry side that is!
