Gotta disagree about the MK Barbershop substituting for BBB

That made me laugh out loud! Because this trip, riding Dumbo is at the top of our list. and we are all adults (well DD is 14 but looks like an adult). ;)

And DH is definitely getting his usual buzz cut, but this time it will be in MK at the barbershop. pixiedust: pixiedust:pixiedust:

Just remember you are never too old for pixiedust. :thumbsup2

Last time I rode Dumbo I came off feeling worses than I did on Mission Space. As the ride was going round I tried to go up and down but nothing happened suddenly it bounced rapidly up and down and I was rather queesy when I got off.

Somewhere, he moderator should probably put and end to this thread, but hopefully it won't be with me.
I am one of the one's who thinks that the OP was a little out of line when she thought it was weird for an adult without kids to get his haircut at the Harmony Barber Shop. He has every much the right as anyone else to get his haircut there, and if he was there first, he should have his haircut first.
As far as him putting on his cap after he got his haircut. So what! What business is it of anyone's if this fellow put his hat on.
It just seems to me that the OP had an experience that was upsetting to her and she wanted to vent a little bit. Truthfuly, I think everything could have been prevented by taking her family somewhere else in the park to enjoy the magic, arriving a little earlier, and not worrying about whether someone is wearing a ballcap or not!
I have been to Disney many times, am an annual passholder, and will be making a trip at the end of next week. I am going to make it a point to get my haircut at the Harmony Barber Shop. I usually do not wear a hat, but will do so this time, and make it a point to put it on right after I receive my haircut.

I was thinking about taking my 18 month DD for her first hair cut there in August. Now, I'm wondering if I should just do it at home? Do they do anything special for a first hair cut like a picture or certificate?

Go ahead and do it! They usually make first haircuts a big deal, with pixie dust, a certificate, and other fun stuff. Just make sure you go first thing in the morning, or be prepared to wait.

Your DD will get a pink set of ears (the same ones they sell for over $10.00) with "first haircut" stitched on the back, as well as a certificate and locks of her hair saved for you. The cost is $14.00. We have always had a great experience. We get there at 8:45 (it opens at 9 and closes at 5). They also have a great way of keeping your child happy while she gets the cut! Don't skip it!
