I was checking out ebay for seeds and found many seeds for a "gothic garden". ...Black flowers and plants.

Look at this beauty..Penny Black

Enter, if you dare! ;)

Interesting plant so I decided to look them up.

Their nickname is "Baby Blue Eyes" and they also come in a beautiful blue. Called Nemophila Menziesii.

Baby Blue Eyes

Another type nicknamed "Five-spot" are white with violet-spotted petals. Called Nemophila Maculata.

The Nemophila that you pictured

They are some form of a wildflower. Their flowers are said to last only about a month in the spring. They do not like heat. The directions say plant 8 inches apart in ordinary soil, in sun to semi-shade.

Thanks Amid for sharing this unusual flower with us. Don't you just love how you learn so many wonderful things about flowers from other Buds.
