I had to miss Bats Day, but made it to the Bats Day Black Market at the DoubleTree on Friday. Fabulous fabulous stuff there, for anybody into goth or alt culture at all. It was funny, I got a couple confused and/or condescending looks (surely, that middle-aged mom in her hip pack and cargo shorts doesn't have a clue where she is?), which DH, DS and I had some good laughs about later.

I wish I could have stayed for Bats Day itself, but had to fly back home to Boston Sunday afternoon. I hope someday I make it there for the real thing!
