GotG tower with smoke from fire covering sun

just got off GotG and the fire smoke was blocking the sun, the whole sky had an orange glow. Kind of crazy.

Oh wow that is really bad. Try and stay indoors as much as you can until it clears out some. It is bad to breath that in. We are in Northern CA and have fires near us too, they are advising the same. Stay safe!

We actually left. I didn't want to get stuck in horrendously bad traffic(worse than the usual horrendousness) with several freeways closing etc.

It was really eerie though how dark and orange it was. I was trying to capture the tower in the pic but my phone wouldn't quite capture it, but the whole tower was dark but all the silver/metallic parts were super shiny and bright, never seen it look like that in normal lighting.
