got wedding pics today!!

we finally got our wedding pics today from randy chapman!! our wedding took place on september 29th at the pavilion and due to hurricane jeane, she really helped back up business for randy. we got our pictures today, which i'm really excited about because i've been waiting for them for so long and they're in time just for christmas. i do have one question though: can i get the pictures onto a CD Rom? i didn't see an option on the order form so i thought of asking you guys, who've had randy as your photographer before. thank you guys in advance.

I have yet to use Randy's services, but on the contract I received when planning our wedding that was to be next year, it said that I would either receive the negatives *or* a CD with the proofs. So if you didn't get the negatives, I would contact Randy about the CD.

Randy will send you a high res cd of all your proofs, but I think he likes to do it after you have ordered your enlargements and your album from him. But if you ask real nice, I know some brides have gotten the cd from him earlier.

thanks guys for your help. there are quite a few pictures that i would like to give to soem family members and to have them reprinted with randy would cost a pretty penny. i will call and ask about a cd. thanks again.

Did you receive the negatives? I opted to have the cd instead, without any cost. He actually gave it to me the day after the wedding!!! Now I'm waiting for the proofs to arrive.

We used Randy for our Intimate wedding and the proofs/negatives were included with the package. They won't be sent out together, just in case both would get lost in the mail - that would be awful!!! So I just called and asked, we planned to do reprints at a local shop for $ sake; it wasn't a problem, you just have to ask. He'll hold onto them in case you do use him for reprints.

no i didn't receive the negatives. i will call him and ask for the cd. i would like it a lot. can i just get the cd without ordering reprints? if so, that would be great!

We got the pictures on CD and did not order any reprints from Randy. When we booked him for the wedding he told us we would receive a CD and could make our own copies from that.
