I told DH we need to reserve our Character Breakfast. Which do you recommend. DS is almost 7 and DD is 4. Is the Toon Town Morning Madness every morning? And I know that Magic Mornings are only certain days right? So should that be opposite of the character breakfast?

Have any of you see the High School Musical 2 performance. DD LOVES Troy (he's her boyfriend, BTW) so I'm sure we need to do that. What about the Pixar Play Parade? It sounds fun!?

Any advice is appreciated! You guys are amazing. I've learned so much already!:worship:

We like to do Minnie and friends at 10:30 on early morning days. We eat a muffin or something in line. Then ride for a few hours then head over to eat.
Toontown Morning Madness is not every morning.

Did you book a package? If so, what company did you use?

Where are you staying?

That'll help us quite a bit. :)

ToonTown Morning Madness is on 4 certain days, but I can't remember which days. Oops.

Magic Mornings is Sat, Sun, Tues, and Thurs. If you are staying on-site you get MM each day MM is offered during your stay. Otherwise you have one to choose from (unless you went with getawaytoday.com, but if you had done so, you wouldn't be asking about TT Morning Madness b/c they don't include that perk).

What characters do your family love best?

Choices:

Lilo and Stitch breakfast at Paradise Pier hotel
Goofy's brunch (?) and dinner at Disneyland Hotel
Chip and Dale's breakfast at Grand Californian Hotel
Minnie and Friends breakfast at Plaza Inn in Disneyland
Princess breakfast at Ariel's Grotto restaurant in DCA

I would do Minnie and Friends or Lilo and Stitch. Inside the park is M & F, it's tons of fun and the characters are great! good food too!!

We booked a package through disneyland.com. Good Neighbor hotel package: 2 nights/3days at Motel 6 Maingate (I know it's not fancy...but we figure all we'll be doing is sleeping there...and I booked 2 extra nights making it a total of 4 nights/5 days)....3 days park hopper pass...looks like it comes with Mickey's Toontown Morning Madness, but it doesn't say anything about Magic Mornings. I think we are leaning towards M & F or Goofy's. Which characters are at them usually?

We enjoyed brunch (10:30 am PS) with Minnie & Friends 2 Sun. ago ~ DS's 8th B~day! We met Capt. Hook, Terk (from Tarzan), Tigger, Eeyore, a Mary Poppins Penguin, Fairy Godmother, Rafiki & Minnie of course, we all enjoyed ourselves.

DD & I had breakfast with the Princesses last Sept. If a early Dec. 08 trip works out we'll try Goofy's Kitchen!

Have a fabulous time!

Yes Tues. morning after a fabulous MM! We got in line at about 9:10 ~ we got done meeting the princesses just after 11 am! This was our longest line ~ followed by Bengal BBQ! It was fun though, I didn't mind the wait. It's too bad we didn't get there sooner (PFF started @ 9:30) we would've had a better place in line.

With your 3 day tickets you should have one day of Magic Morning. :)

Princess Fantasy Faire has a few things going on. The big draw is the "royal walk", I think it's called. You wait in a rather long line, and one family at a time goes through to meet as many as three princesses (one at a time). No guarantee as to which princesses will be there, as they cycle in and out regularly (and you can't wait for your fave to come back). They have Photopass photographers with each princess, so if you are doing photopass that's nice!

There are also storytelling times with princesses; we got to hear Aurora's story, and b/c DS had gotten the attention of the Ladies in Waiting ahead of time (by asking for her autograph) he was asked to dance with her at one point in her story.

There are also coronation ceremonies, which I think is more of a song sort of thing; we didn't stay for it.

They also have an area where you can buy princess dresses and I believe Prince Philip foam swords and shields (DS had already gotten those elsewhere in the parks in September), and there are arts and crafts with paper crowns.

Where can I find the days that TTMM and the MM are? Do I do both on the same day, split them up? I'm still baffled on which character breakfast to choose. Do Mickey and Minnie got to Goofy's?

From the DL website, TTMM is:

Available for one morning during your stay on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

MM is available:

Entitlement available for one morning throughout the length of your ticket on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.

MM is actually Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday now.

I've just forgotten how old your girl is.

If you were to do both MM and MTTMM in one day, your morning would be...

Get up early, get to the gates at least half an hour before MM starts (at least). Go and play in Fantasyland for an hour.

Now Disneyland is open for everyone. Since ToonTown normally opens an hour AFTER it opens, this means that MTTMM is going to start soon. Leave Fantasyland, go around the corner and past Small World, and enter TT (giving your vouchers to the CMs as you go in). Have fun in TT for that hour!

So now it's 1 hour past normal opening, and you have been having good times for 2 hours, and are probably ready for a break! :)

For us, we toyed with that idea, but ultimately it felt like too much. Not too much physically, but it felt like the days after that (doing both would have been early in the trip) would be a letdown. So we used the MMs we had (we stayed onsite for the first part of our first big trip) separately from the MTTMM, to sort of split up the fun. :goodvibes

have you seen the menus online? allears.net has them, as does dlresortinfo. The Lilo and Stitch breakfast has rice in a rice cooker. Hubby loved that. :)

Waste of time on the meeting the princesses royal walk thing very long line not worth it IMHO. If you want to meed the princesses do the princesses breakfast lunch thing.

The story time thing was cool certain times for the show. The kids go gather round and sit on pillows and her a story from a princess I would recommend this.

We've done Minnie and Friends and Goofy's Kitchen and while I like both of them, I preferred Minnie and Friends. I like eating in the park once we're already there. The characters we saw at M&F were Minnie, Capt. Hook, Tigger, Pooh, Fairy Godmother, Chip and Dale. At Goofy's we saw Goofy, Alice, Aladdin, Baloo, Pluto, Chip and Dale.

We've done the PFF twice and even thought the line can be really long to meet the princess, I'd do it if my girls wanted to again. They seem to take more time there than they do at the princess dinner (which we've done twice). And you can actually wait for your favorite. We waited in line last year becaues my daughter desperately wanted to meet Snow White (this was before she was out in DCA) and by the time we got there, she was gone. We went through the line and met the princesses that were there. Later we saw she was back, so we got in line again ( ) and by the time we got there, she was gone again. We asked a CM when she might be back and he said in about 15 minutes. He allowed us to stand off to the side and once she came back he allowed us to go in the meeting area.

Have fun!

I'm really leaning towards M & F. It looks like there may be more food to choose from at Goofy's but if I'm already at the park I don't know if I want to leave to go to Goofys. Where can I find the seating times available?

I'm so confused. Now I'm leaning towards Goofy's after seeing the possible characters and the food looks more extensive. Maybe we could do Goofy's on Sunday, TTMM on Monday, and MM on Tuesday? Is doing the breakfast on a Sunday crazy? It'd be June 1st. According to ***************** they have listed as characters: Aladdin, Jasmine, Donald Duck, Minnie Mouse, Mickey Mouse, Pluto, Goofy. For M & F they have: Minnie, Pluto, Captain Hook, Chip and Dale, Tigger, Pooh. Does that sound right? Do you really get to see both MM's and such at Goofy's? Oh, the decisions! What is the best time to go?
