Finally got to see the consultant about my Carpal Tunnel syndrome - too much dibbing. and the outcome was wait for it to get better - years & years, or have my wrists cut open and have the pressure released from my nerves.
Well I have tentatively agreed, on condition he only does the left one and if I can cope after that alright then I will eventually get the right one done as well. He said side effects may be loss of strength in hands - how will I hang onto Zach when he decides to go off on one of his major tantrums??, hypersensitivity (?) and very rarely loss of function. I had to press him about the last one until he admitted that yes it could happen but not very often. But the pain, pins and needles and morning numbness are getting to much for me so rather than slash my wrists with the pain I'm going to let him do it for me (joke)
Just got to sit patiently on the waiting list now - probably give you an update in about 2 years then - LOL

That's not quite as quickly as I was hoping for you, Elise!! I hope the pain, tingling stays at a minimum until November rolls around. {{{Elise}}}
