Got the Cricut!!! Now ????

Which cartridge to get? I want mickey, mickey font, animal kingdom. However DH is limiting me to one , so which one? I scrapbook and am working on our Disney Cruise and Disney trips but, I am also working on my cats a book!

I wonder if I can convince him to get me 2 at least!

So which carts are your favorites?

Also, where is the best place to buy carts. I went to Walmart today and they had a few. Base Camp was only $45.

Don't ask me. I love them all. DH was really an enabler when he got this for me, as when JoAnns still took 40% off on the carts, he let me get a bunch. And I use them all.

Wow, tough call. My first was Base Camp. It is a very versitile font. You can still do a lot with George, though too.

But, if you are working on Disney books, the Disney carts are great, each for different reasons. I use Mickey and Friends more than I use Mickey Font. There are nice features on the Font, but the Mickey and Friends shapes are more impressive.

If I were in your shoes, my shopping list would be in this order:
Mickey and Friends
Mickey Font
Base Camp

I don't have Animal Kingdom, but I do want it, though.

If I could only get one I think it would be Mickey Font. because you get letters and Disney characters. I just got it and I love it. I don't know what I would do if my DH said I could only get one.

I have George, Doodlecharms, Base Camp, Tear Drop and Mickey & Friends.

I use Tear Drop and Base Camp the most for fonts. I love doodlecharms. I haven't opened my Mickey yet, so can't comment on that one

I love Mickey and Friends. I don't have the font so I can't compare them for you. Animal Kingdom is high on my list as well. Although I have ZooBalloo and it is a really cute font with animals... so not sure AK is a necessity. Doodlecharms is the other cartridge I use a lot because it has all the seasons. I just recently bought All Mixed Up as well- it works well with my kids layouts. Basically I love all my cartridges, it is so hard to narrow it down. I usually get my carts at JoAnn's with the 40% off coupon or online at hallmarkscrapbook. Good luck!

I would get the Mickey and Friends. It has lots of characters as well as the names for the characters.

Thanks for the responses. I may go back to Walmart and get Base Camp as it was only $45. I am limited to 1 as we just bought a house and I was supposed to have my craft room set up before I got the machine but my room is still a disaster.

mickey and friends was my first. Remember you still have George with your Cricut, and that has alot of cool things.
