Got the Craig MP3 today - copatable with itunes?

hi,

i currently have an ipod mini and all my music is in itunes format...will this work for loading this crais mp3 player for my mom? how can i do it? what format are the itunes songs in? the craig player says plays MP3/WMA/DRM files,,,,,,

If you bought songs off the Apple store they will be AAC format...Also I know with the iPods there is a problem loading music off a machine you do not have easy access to. The iPods sync up with itunes when you plug them into your computer. If the songs on it are not in your iTunes they go away. Well actually they just become invisable, which you can hack, but maybe your Mom wouldn't be so keen on that.

I think the common work around is to burn a CD of the songs she wants and let her rip them to her iTunes folder.

K - not sure if all this is right but here goes. The itunes are in an mp4 format I believe and you have to convert them to an mp3 format to get them into the craig mp3 player I think. I use a converter program that I downloaded free called JHymn - website is called hymn-project.
Keep in mind that if you are using itunes 6.0 then the program may not help you...needs to be a previous version of itunes. Now - I haven't used this for uploading to an mp3 player but I have used it to edit music in other software programs. Hope this helps...
