Got the 2010 'year long' PINcode after following a DIS-tip

It worked! We got a Pin we can use!

Here is what I did. On three seperate occassions i logged onto Disney's website and researched vacation packages for July 13 - 20th, 21st and 22nd looking at Moderate and Delux resorts. After the first attempt I got a nice email from Disney refering to my vacation dates and offering me the 40% discount code for dates in November and December 2009. So I thought I could out smart the computer system at Disney and logged on to the website again and deleted those saved offers and saved new similiar offers for the same time periods. Well low and behold I got the same email refering to my july time period and offering me the Nov/Dec pin code

Before I got really sneaky and had my wife register separately at Disney.com i thought I would try a third time for kicks and giggles and I again for the third time logged onto disney.com, deleted two of may three saved offers and added two additional saved offers.

Good to know. I am on a mission for a PIN we can use. Between my mom, dh and myself we have gotten about 4 or 5 different PINs for Nov/ Dec of this year, but we can't go until June of next year. I guess I will head off to Disney.com and play around with my saved ressies a bit for both dh and myself and tell my mom to do the same. I would love to get the one for most of 2010 since I am hoping for 2 trips and both fall into the time frames shown. How great would it be to take 2 Disney trips in one year for 40% off Deluxe resorts???

I finally got the pin today too!!! I was about ready to give up and I got two emails today within 5 minutes of each other!!!

At the recommendation of someone else I took the survey and checked the box about it not being the best value. I then typed into the box "I am not ready to book yet, I am waiting for a promotion or a better deal." I literally had the code in my email an hour later...probably a coincidence but it was great timing!

I jumped right on it and booked our 10 day vacation in June at Bay Lake Towers.

Wanted to just say thanks to everyone for their great advice!!! I did everything mentioned on this thread and it totally worked!!!! Late last week I started saving vacations on the Disney website. Today when I opened my e-mail account, low and behold, there was an e-mail from Disney Destinations. Knowing that there was a possibility that it wasn't the "year long" pin code, I was very anxious to open it! Needless to say, I practically screamed as I read the e-mail. Looks like we'll be heading to Disney sometime in July or August!!! Today is definitely my lucky day!! In addition to receiving the pincode, I also got a Zhu Zhu pet for my DD6 today...those of you looking for this toy know exactly how lucky I am!!!!!

I am on a Mac as well, and never get the pop-up survey. I have gotten the survey when on a PC though (several times). And still have never gotten a PIN although I have tried every recommendation.

I created an itinerary yesterday and got the email for the pin code today!!! woohoo!! If only I could convince my DH that we should go there for our first anniversary instead of a trip to DC in the spring.

Hi! I also got the PIN code e-mail after saving itineraries. When I started, I was only pricing deluxes in Sept, as that's when we usually go & where we stay. When that didn't work, I tried different months, May, Sept. & Nov. I also tried All Stars (value), Port Orleans(mod) & yacht club(deluxe). I also did not log in every day, just a few times in the week. within about 10 days, I had the PIN. The resorts listed in my 2 e-mails were the All Stars that I added.

Got mine about 10 days ago. It seems like people have been getting the PIN every day. So there is still a good chance for you!! Try adding different dates &/ or resorts, even if it's not where you normally stay.
