Got some Pixie Dust today!!!

DH and I decided to see if we could get a last minute ressie last week for 2/23-3/3. We live in WA and are OVER the cold, snowy weather. We got lucky and were able to book a 1bdrm at SSR for the whole time, but actually did a split stay and included VWL for the last 3 nights to try it out. We did a wl at BCV for those last 3 nights and it came through today! We have never stayed there and feel so lucky to have booked a 1 bdrm for 8 nights last minute!!! Our kids are going to have a blast!!!

Congratulations! We are heading down in a little over three weeks and can't wait. It 14 below in the night but has now warmed to a balmy 4 degrees. I can't get to Disney fast enough!!

Totally understand the grey weather (as am also in WA). Basically we HAVE to plan a trip between Nov & March or I go crazy. Couldn't make it down to FL as we have a 2 week trip planned for next fall, but are going to Vegas! Enjoy the vitamin D while down there and bring back some pixie dust with you. If you do, we might get som sunny days here before summer. (fingers crossed)

We are in NY and so done with snow going to BWV on 2/18 can't wait. Ninth year in a row. My older son goes to college in two years and I am going to miss him on thiese trips this time we will be there for his 16th birthday !!!Celebrating at Lilo and Stictch breakfast-his favorite

We were at OKW this past week and had some close to 80 degree weather. It was beautiful. It makes this very cold winter in New England feel a bit shorter. We had a lot of fun. Enjoy your time in the sun at DVC.

Wow - that's awesome! We just did the same thing, but ended up in a studio at SSR for the entire week 2/22-3/2. We originally booked a 1 bedroom for 4 nights and put a studio stay on the waitlist. The following day the studio showed up in our account! We called immediately to see if we could secure the rest of the week in the studio and it was available! I was so happy too to be able to get that last minute ressie. Thank you also to Southwest who provided the $79 flight sale a week ago, which started this whole getaway!
