Got rid of cable, it's almost been a year!

I wish we had a cord we could cut! There is no cable service where we live at all. None. In order to watch TV we have satellite, our internet is also satellite and we have a land line phone. So, basically we can't stream anything over the internet as the satellite connection can't handle it. We could have a dial up internet connection, but it would take days to download anything. We tried a digital antenna, but it was not powerful enough to get any local tv stations where we live.

So, we are stuck.
