Got quote for pkg w/40% discount..what is included in basic dining meals?

I have been quoted $2391 for 3 adults at the Boardwalk in a standard room for 4 nights with tix and basic dining. I was quoted $1111 for room only which means the tickets and dining come to $1280 for 3 adults, which is $427a piece. If the tickets are around $250 each, that leaves $177 for dining which is coming to about $44 per day for each adult. What is included in the sit down meal, such as entree, dessert, drink, etc? Just trying to figure if this is a good deal or not. What do you all think?

Basic dining includes:
One table service per day. It includes meal, dessert and non-alcoholic beverage.
One counter service per day. It includes meal, dessert and non-alcoholic beverage.
One snack per day.

This is all per person. Every person in your reservation has to be on the dining plan. It is $38 per adult and $10 per child per night.

We were on the deluxe dining plan in February and loved it. The deluxe includes three meals per day (any combination of table and counter service) and 2 snacks plus a refillable mug at your resort. We are trying to do this trip a little cheaper which is why we aren't doing DxDDP in September.

Wow, how did you get 40% off the package?? We are booked under a 40% code, but the CM said it applies to room only. We have almost the same set up as you -- 3 adults (plus a 12 year old) for 4 nights with hoppers and basic dining plan, but our total for that at Pop is $1957. for a standard room. Bumping up to DxL, which we hope to do when someone cancels, will put the total at about $2189. Is there some code I don't know about that is discounting the whole package?? We would actually be able to afford staying at a deluxe for the first time, if that's true!!
