I am still a little nervous... we just had to do something... all my DD'S friends were terrified of K.C. because she kept pouncing on them and scratching. I was getting a little annoyed, too. Every night after I tucked DD in bed and came back to my room-K.C. would lie in wait and ATTACK! Too many scratches on my feet and ankles, then they would itch BAD!! I LOVE my furbaby, but I have never had such an aggressive little thing. Soooo...after much research,we decided to get the SoftPaws-hot pink:p attached today at the local pet boutique. They were great! They scruffed my baby, and wham! Had 'em on in no time flat!! I gave K.C. extra treats when we got home, but she is still licking her paws and fretting. We have all been playing with her,but she seemed to get upset when she slipped off the bannister. Maybe with a good night's sleep, she will be ok tomorrow.....
Encouragement,please!!!:p
Maybe if I give her a NEW roll of toilet paper to shred, she will forgive me!

How long will they stay on?
Hope it helps out. Little kitties can do quite a bit of damage!

We got our little Bucky's paws done too. They did not have to put him to sleep or anything. He just sat there and watched them do it. Now when he goes to scratch the furniture his paws just glide over the furniture. They do not bother him at at. Maybe that is because he is 3 years old. We adopted him 2 weeks ago from the humane society. The vet told us they would stay on his paws for 4 weeks to 6 months depending on how he reacted to them and how fast his toe nails grew. They told me if I found one to bring it and him into the vet and they would put it back on for free. YES!!!:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

They did not charge me for the application-I thought that was neat. The SoftPaws kit was $16.I have a lot left over, but they said if any fell off, just to bring K.C. back and they would put them on for free. This is such a cool place-it it half doggie daycare and half petstore boutique with kittens to adopt and my favorite Science Diet food, toys, tee shirts, bowls, leashes, etc. They are going to move to a new location super close to my house! DD and I will be able to walk there and play with the animals anytime. Maybe DD will be able to snag a job with them when she is older!!!:bounce:

No experience with softpaws myself, but I've heard that it may take a few days for the kitty to get used to them, but she should adjust. :)

What is it? A sock or something that goes on the the cats paws? SOunds interesting!

They are little plastic covers that just fit over each toe nail. They do not hurt the cat in any way. My cat acts like he does not even know they are there. He is an indoor cat, so this does not hurt him. If the cat goes outdoors then I dont know if I would consider doing this because he/she would not have any protection. My cat is 3 years old and he just sat there and looked at them when they put each one of them on. I highly recommend them.
