UPDATE Jan 9, 2013:

Here are the updated pictures I promised.
We are planning our first trip to the fort with it this Feburary for DS's first WDW trip.
Still need to add when it warms up out:
New Faucets
Disney window decals

Sorry for big pics, photobucket dosn't want to keep my photos small for some reason.

We picked up our first RV over the weekend. :cool1:

It is a 2007 Four Winds Majestic from Cruise America.
We are going to go thru and give it a real good cleaning, change the upholstery (hidden mickey fabric), and the curtains.
Here are some pictures of how it currently looks and I'll post pictures once all the changes are made.

We are thinking of buying from them in the spring when we sell our Pop-up. What are the RV's like? R they in good condition? I am very hesitant after reading post on the rental experience with them.:thumbsup2

The RVs do look used of course but not horrible. They gave us brand new mattresses, fixed everything we pointed out and added an awning for $500 or could have gotten $500 off the price. DH is happy cause it books out $20,000 more on Nada then what we paid . They also offer a warranty for a year or 12,000 miles. DH likes that we didn't have to break the bank for our first RV and we can personalize it too. Love it has a spot for our DS's carseat in the dinette.

Let me know of any questions you may have. We dealt with Richard in Manasses Virgina.

Nice!!! Ready for a trip to the Fort!! :thumbsup2

Cool! Congrats on your purchase! We are still shopping for one. Can't wait to see the After pics!

Buying used is SUCH a smart move financially if you can find the RV you like.

I really like the hidden Mickey material cover. What a neat touch.

ArielRae, you'll find that the RV gives you such flexability to go all kinds of places (besides the Fort of course). You'll just be looking for campsites now rather than hotel rooms.

Congrats! It looks GREAT. :hyper::hyper:

:thumbsup2 WOW it looks Awesome ~ Congratulations!! :goodvibes

It really looks great and you sound so confident on changing the upholstery!!:worship:

We just bought a 2002 hybrid and your upholstery looks much better than ours however I'm only debating  on doing it as I've heard it's such an ordeal?! I cannot wait to follow your progress!! :wizard:

Do you have a Fort Wilderness trip planned?

We are lucky to have my mother inlaw who does reupholstery so she is going to help us with changing things over. :thumbsup2

We are thinking of a Febuary trip but DH is concerned about driving in the snow.

Just play it by ear. We pulled the 5th Wheel from Nebraska last year in Feburary to the Fort. Actually had 2 different routes figured out because you don't know what the weather is going to be at that time. Already have a trip lined up to Florida again this Feburary, (not to Fort) but will not worry about weather until about a week before we are ready to leave. Have Fun!:cool1::cool1:

How exciting! Congratulations! Love the photos - can't wait to see more.

:cheer2:

So excited! We dropped off our RV last night to have my mother inlaw start redoing the upholstery and curtains. :goodvibes

So what items do you keep your RVs stocked with?
Trying to start getting items together so it is ready for a trip when we want to go. :goodvibes

Getting excited!

Mother inlaw has finished reupholstering the dinette. She has the arm chair and curtains still.

We added-
a tv with built in DVD player. The RV didn't come set up for a tv.
Sheets and comforters
Changed the bath towel and toilet paper holders. Bought bath towels.
Attached a paper towel holder to the wall by the sink.
DH ordered a back up camera

We are looking for new faucets for the kitchen sink and bathroom sink.

Can't wait to show everyone the finish product later. :goodvibes

Can't wait to see the finished product! ::yes::

Looking forward to your end result. Hoping we will be doing the same in the spring. I love the fabric pattern. Where did you find it? :)

Found it from a seller on eBay. She only had 6 yards of it. I needed more then that but couldn't pass it up after looking thru thousands of fabrics on eBay and amazon that was the only fabric that had a true hidden Mickey that was on upholstery fabric and also large enough to see. We bought a brown fabric to compliment it for the sides of the furniture and putting the design fabric up front.

The picture shows the fabric more purple then it is. It is actually a bunch of different colors in a geometric pattern. :goodvibes
