Got our BCV 1 Br!

Woohoo! Booked our BCV 1Br this morning at 7 months out It's just DH and myself, but we had to cancel our January vacation and are splurging a bit. Since we plan on staying 9 nights, we wanted the washer/dryer in room, and he has only ever stayed at the BWV, so I'm so excited we got BCV!

We have the first 7 nights secured; I am correct in saying that in order to add the remaining two nights I either need to call member services and have it added over the next two days, or (the non-preferable choice) cancel and rebook with the added nights, taking the risk that someone might swoop in and get it while I change it.

You are correct about adding nights, call MS.

BCV may be available due to the ongoing rehab there. Some guests stay away for resorts where work in being done, on the other hand, blocks of rooms are removed from inventory which would make getting a room harder to get.

Tomorrow call MS at 9 eastern and add a night, then next day do the same. The week you got, Nov 13-20, is the minor lull, with start date the last day of F&W and end date the beginning of Thanksgiving week, during the intense times. You should consider it important to get those last two nights, the Sun and Mon of Thanksgivng week as quickly as you possibly can because a BCV owner could fill them in if you delay.
