Hey DIS'rs! We're been here since the 1st enjoying our very first Disneyland Christmas! It's been soooooooo WONDERful and I'm so thankful for this place that gave me a lot of great info to make this an awesome vacation for our family. Standing in front of IASW for the holiday fireworks show was so awesome, we've already done it twice! I was able to keep the snow a secret from dh and the kids and they were surprised and it was just so magical!

Anyhoo, we were originally planning to check out and leave today, but the DLH offered tonight at $129. We were actually already considering it because there's a lot we still haven't done yet and we figured it would be worth it to skip out on one day of work/school for dh/kids. But when the offer came up, that sealed the deal! So another day of Disney magic for us! I know a lot of stuff will stop or be shut down starting tomorrow, but it will give us the time to do stuff like Toontown and Innoventions (the kids love that) that we haven't done yet and probably wouldn't do today.

Anyway, wanted to share our good fortune!

Hey, I saw the note about the mini meet at Pizza Port at 11:30... which is in about an hour, lol. Don't know if I can convince the rest of the fam to do that, but if I can get them to agree to do Space first, then I'll try to hook up with you guys!

I got the same offer Thanksgiving week! Unfortunately, there was no way I could do it but it would have been nice, especially since they'd already upgraded us to a suite in the Dreams tower!

It was a lot busier than we were expecting. We couldn't believe the lines at the kiosks for people trying to get in yesterday. As I was commenting in another thread, the line for the Matterhorn was perpetually wrapped around - we never did ride it.

I wonder what the actual #'s were and how they compared with the same Monday-after-the-new-year stats from last year.
