Honestly, when my Nephew contacted us a month ago and told us he was having a Disney wedding on 12/28 I figured we would be driving from CT to attend the event. At $400 a ticket and a need to get 5 of us down to Orlando the rented van at $350 a week with unlimited miles looked pretty good. That said, I continued to monitor the flight offerings with only one requirement, reasonable cost, and everything else being flexible. Last week my watching paid off when I spotted acceptable flights!!! Now, the good news is I only paid $170 RT per ticket so I was out the door at $854 for 5 of us!!! :cool1: The bad news, we are leaving out of Newark NJ, connecting in Atlanta, and arriving into Jacksonville. Still, I can deal with all that rather then $2000 in flights or 40 hours of driving back and forth (my kids are happy about that). So thanks Delta for a reasonable flight offering during the worst travel week of the year. Now, my nephew better not change his mind about getting married!!!!

That's a great price. I got the same price for my trip in Oct. I have Delta miles I can use, but for that price I'll pay cash and save my miles. :dance3:

We did this one year. Flew into Jacksonville, rented a car and drove to Disney. But I was able to fly out of Orlando for the flight home. It did save us a ton of money..
