Got my voucher- hotel deal

I recieved my voucher today for the free ticket and inside the is an offer for
5 nights for the price of 3. I know they have the deal now and the booking window is till 3/29. The flyer say present at check in -dates through 12/24.

I already have a week booked with the supersaver rate for Aug. but was thinking of cutting back days and adding on Disney.I was worried about prices going up if I made changes after 3/29 but now I can get the rate any time and any days I want.

I think the fine print says "non-transferable, must present original mailer upon check-in. Valid for stays thrugh and including 12/24/09. Subject to availability.

Macraven - the free ticket (I have one) references a special website - universalorlando.com/superbowl - where a code, SB43, is listed. I checked for my dates, Dec 12 - 18, for PBH, and the rate shown was $245/night for club level. I have a ressie through AAA at $335/night for that same room type. The website states that the deal is valid for stays through 12/24/09. You might want to try that code.

Update: just finished re-reading everything on the website. This deal is apparently only for those who won a free ticket. You must present the original mailer that contains the free ticket voucher to take advantage of the extended pricing through the end of the year. Sorry for any confusion I stirred up - that code won't work unless you have the free ticket mailer to show at check in.

I booked the Superbowl rate today. Here's hoping I get my voucher this next week. If not, I guess I'll switch back to the AAA rate by like June/July if it's not in the mail. I mean if its not in by then, I doubt it will come at all. Right?

Did you go through the link on the voucher? I ask because I didn't notice it until cbsnyber1 pointed it out.

I used the link from my mailer and the "superhero" savings rate was identical to the super saver rate on the regular website for my dates in June. I don't think that the "special offer" for ticket winners is any extra savings, just the dates available are slightly different then the public offering.

The Super Bowl hotel promo is a Super Saver rate that is effective now until 12/24/09. It covers as long as you have at least a 4 night stay booked.

There is one black out time period for this promo in April.

I modified my rate for the SB code.
I received an email from the special service department instructing me I have to bring the mailer with me when I check in to the hotel to keep the SB rate.

I was told if i can not produce it, I will be charged rack rate...

I checked all the hotels before I called to modify my rate.
I had previously booked in January for my fall trip.


Not all types of rooms are available with the SS SB promo.
Only what you see on the ressie site is what you can choose from.
When there are Super Saver rates out, only a percentage of rooms and types of rooms are eligible for them.


You can call and book through Universal though.
There could be availability that has not been posted to the hotel booking sites.
