I'm really disppointed in it. I actually turned it off half way through... later on I'll watch the rest... but wow. I'm really surprised. Maybe I'm just used to the older videos where there are guests talking about the rides and just one narrator explaining everything. But, now we have four? Dave seems to be the only one I can really.... stand (for lack of a better word). The others are a bit over-bearing. And Luke, don't even get me started - all I can say is: really annoying. Am I being too harsh? Does anyone else feel this way about the video? It really doesn't feel "Disney-ish" to me. Maybe I'm losin' my Disney drive? Or is it just the video? *crosses fingers* "Just the video.... just the video..."

I feel the video is mostly bad. I LOVE all the new information but I feel that the change in format was a big mistake. I like how it gives you a lot of information on MYW tickets, EMH, etc. But, I think it focuses on that way too much, and kinda of just goes way too fast on the rides. I mean, they just put in Mickey's Philarmagic around 2003ish and they spent about 10 seconds on that. They just pointed at Dumbo, etc. I think Luke is a little bit over the top as he makes some of the rides, SM, SM, & BTMRR, look like big, heavy duty rides when really they aren't major rollercoasters like the ones at Six Flags (not to say they aren't rollercoasters. I like to think of them as a themed ride which gives off a better feeling then just a cheap thrill. It leaves something within you.).

Let's just say I'm watching my Magical Gatherings tape. You can also watch the video online. It's not the same one that you received, it was the one before it with some deleted scenes (in the resorts!!). I watch it online when I'm outside on my notebook and in the house. Heck, I'm watching it now!! LOL..

I'll only watch the new tape in small doses because it is way to different and I don't like it.

Whew.. I rambled a lot!! LOL

I feel the same way. I did like that they showed a little more of the resorts, but the overall format was bad. It seemed like the hosts were trying too hard to make disney seem fun (which is really the last thing that they needed to do...come on...it's disney...of course it is fun!) I feel like they lost a little bit of the magic when they tried to make it updated.
