Got my splints taken out

Today I got the plastic splints taken out of my nose from surgery. I arrived at the doctor's office he came in the exam room and gave me a tray to hold and he cut the stitch holding them in and used tweezers to remove each splint and it was uncomfortable as he pulled them out and its weird to see how those things were in my nose. I feel better and can breathe better now that they are out. I still have the cast on my nose and that will come off next Monday.

So glad you are another step closer to your full recovery. Sounds like you are making great progress. Is this the same kind of splint that David Letterman was showing on his show once? If it is those things were HUGE!! I can't imagine the pain you must have been in. Feel better!!

I have been feeling good for the past couple of days. Getting the splints taken out was uncomfortable and my doctor suctioned some fluid out which hurt. But I'm feeling pretty good.

I'm not sure about what kind of splints David Letterman showed. If you watch a few of these videos you will get an idea of what kind of splints I had.
