Got my "NEW" car!!!

I'm so happy. We picked up my "new" car today. A 2002 Subaru Forester with only 7475 miles on it.

I LOVE IT!

NOW, I need to get a new Mickey antenna topper. I'm thinking the red/white/blue kind so I can hang it from rear view mirror. My old Mickey topper was the profile kind & you can't hang it inside. Besides, he was dirty.

Do you get toppers at the Disney store? I've only seen them at WDW.

Our Disney store went out of the CCMall, do you know there website address?

Hi Lynn,

No, I didn't order it from the web. But I did use autotrader.com to search dealers (within a distance). It saved alot of running around to see who had what.

Luckily, it turned out the dealer was only 40 minutes away -- but in CT. Only required 2 trips to the dealer.

You can find the Mickey toppers at the DS. They usually have them in a bin near the cash registers.

Here's a pic of mine! My previous caravan was totaled in an accident 4 weeks ago and I've been borrowing cars since then while I fought with insurance companies. I lost the fight, bit it's so great to have a car again!!

I made it "my own" today.....Put my Mickey antenna ball on it, my magnetic American flag, and my plush Mickey key chain hangs from the mirror.

Do you think a Disney license plate on the front would be overkill???

I don't think the Mickey license plate would be overkill. Heck, I would do it too, but MA requires that we use plates front & back --- so no more Disney plates for us.

And since new car doesn't have antenna, I have to put the topper inside. I also have to find an American flag window cling --- other car had a flag sticker I couldn't get off.

Funny thing though....while the guy was explaining the warranty for the car, he told us it was good anywhere in the country. He actually said "So if you are somewhere in Kentucky, on your way to Disney World, and have a problem...", which produced an immediate chuckle from me. And DH comments...."You HAD to mention Disney World, huh?"

Am I that obvious????
