Got my Luggage Tags today...But....

Hi Everyone!

So I got my ME luggage tags today, but here's the problem. Last Friday I changed resorts from All Star Music to Pop Century. The luggage tags say All Star Music. Will I get new luggage tags before I leave? I have 34 days before I leave.

Has your reservation number changed??? If not, you have no concerns. Even though your tags say one thing, the bar code will say another. The reservation info is in that bar code.
But, if the reservation number does change, then you can't use those tags.
You can call and request new ones in any case. DME needs at least 10 days to print them up and get them to the guest.

If you have a smart phone, can you download a barcode reader app and scan the code on the tags? I don't know if anyone's done that.

I have heard of people using a Sharpie to cross out the 'old' resort and write in the new one, but in your case, I would call and ask for new tags. The worst they can say is "no".

As long as the reservation number is the same, the info in the bar code will read with the new info.
Worst case scenario??? The luggage would go to the 'old' resort, and then be moved to the 'new' resort. Not a huge issue. Yes, that happens, but not very frequently.
You can cross off the old resort name and write the new one in with a fine point sharpie if it makes you feel better. But don't touch that bar code!!!!
