My WiFi +3G Kindle arrived on my doorstep this morning along with the standard black leather cover from Amazon. I LOVE IT! I've already downloaded "Confessions of a Real Estate Entrepreneur" and a sample of "The Help."

This is the case I ordered. I really like it! It has hooks on it that attach the Kindle to it so it doesn't fall out. Much nicer than my dad's Nook case where it just sits in these little grooves...
As is usually the case, the book was much better than the movie. I just finished Pillars of the Earth (on my Kindle) last night and it was awesome! I had heard many good things about it so I downloaded it when I got my Kindle. Just a few moments ago I was kinda depressed when I went to pick up my Kindle to start reading and realized I finished it. Time to find something new. I know Kevin said that Devil in the White City was really good, so I may give it a try.
Right now I'm reading the book DisneyWar on my kindle, about what went on behind-the-scenes in the Disney company during the 80's and 90's leading up to the purchase of Pixar. If you're interested in Disney history it's really interesting.
I received my Kindle on Christmas morning as well. I'm still reading Vault of Walt by Jim Korkis. It shares short stories of Walt that can be read when you have only short periods of time to read.
Congratulations on your Kindle! So many wonderful books, so little time and money... So many books to recommend, I don't even know where to start. You already got a bunch of great suggestions.

I can recommend, "The Vault of Walt" by Jim Korkis. It is a collection of vignettes of Walt Disney's life. I just purchased it on the recommendation of a friend and enjoying it immensely. It has much about the man that is not in other biographies about him. Enjoy your Kindle!
