Got my Hydro Flask shipment today (UPDATE!!!)

:woohoo: But unfortunately the darn mail man left it (a white shipping box) in front of my almost white garage door and I ran over them with my car! :headache: I was so mad I cried! :furious: I sent an email via the contact page of the website to see if the package would have had any kind of insurance. Not sure what else can be done other than order new ones....which are not on the website any more since I ordered the $15 2009 version. :sad2: At least UPS and Fedex put the boxes at the front door! I would have rather the mail man to have left a card for me to go pick them up. :rolleyes:

:woohoo: Hydroflask has AWESOME customer service. Although they did not have to, they are going replace them for me (with me paying shipping fees, but since I didn't pay shipping on the original order, I consider it a good deal!) Just wanted to let everyone know that they were willing to help me even though this is a first for them. If I like these bottles even half as much as I think I am, I will be buying at least one more in the 12oz size for keeping in my purse while out shopping, etc.
 
Oh no!! I'm so sorry that happened! I really hope they can do something for you. Leaving it in the driveway doesn't seem to be the brightest idea. Good luck! And I hope you get your bottles soon! I'm now a Hydro Flask addict! LOL they're the best. :thumbsup2

We were expecting ours today, but maybe they will be here tomorrow.

Our mail person is pretty good about propping packages up against the door if no one is home, but I'll double check the driveway anyway...

Once you get your Hydra Flask you are going to love it! I used it on my May trip and am looking forward to giving a good work out next week at WDW. It kept ice in it all day with temps around 90.

BTW, I dropped mine when I was out for a walk and wouldn't you know it...it landed right on the bottom edge and put a big dent in it. I was so upset. One thing about the 21oz wide mouth is that it's kind of wide, so people with small hands might have difficulty carrying it unless you grasp it right around the neck or loop a finger through the lid (which is okay short-term but starts to fell heavy after a while). I think I might try to find some type of carrier for it.
 
Got my 2 today, so glad my postman is smarter. He put them in the mailbox. I can't wait to use them.

Have you used it since? I thought maybe I would try to use the one that was the least dented and when I put ice and water in it, the part with the dent immediately had a cold spot and condensation started to form. So it appears the vacuum seal is broken with the dent.

I've used mine since and haven't experienced any problems with condensation. So I'm guessing you're correct about the vacuum seal.
