Got my H1N1 vaccine

Finally. I was calling the doctor every couple of days to see if it was in. (per instruction) No luck. Dh called me yesterday and said to meet him at Super Fresh on my way home from work. They were setting up for flu shots. No line. This wasn't announced anywhere that I know of. Nobody waited more then 15 minutes. No insurance accepted. $15. The company said they will be all over the area over the next couple weeks. So check with your area grocery stores and minute clinics. I guess it's becoming more available.
They were offering both mist and shot.

Good for you! I'm hoping I'll be posting the same thing next Tuesday.. My doctor's office finally has it (shots - for high risk patients only) and since I fall into that category, I have an appt. set up..

The shots are not available in this area yet. I've got my fingers crossed that they show up soon. Living this close to WDW, I feel like I'm living in a large petri dish full of germs. I can't wait to get the shot.

I know they're offering them at schools. I participated in helping out at my high schools vaccination days, just signing in and signing out students. (I didn't want it myself) And at my little sisters elementary school, the kids just had to fill out the form and send it back if they wanted it. All free of charge and teachers had a chance to get the vaccine free too.

My OBGYN office called Friday asking if I would be interested in the shot as they got them in. I said yes and will be going in Monday night. Thank goodness

My kids got it this past week also. I was happy to get that call.

Got mine last Mon...can't wait until I have some immunity...it's too scary
