Got my full time contract today!!!

I just received my full time teaching contract in the mail today!!!. I had been half time at a local University for the past 10 years and felt the timing was right to begin to look into full time. Well things worked out and I'm now full time at the same University!!!

I am at a similar spot. After 15 years as a stay at home mom, my youngest is headed to K in the fall and I decided it was time to try something part time. I was lucky enough to land a part time English position on my first attempt.

In today's markey of jobs, I am really thankful for how easily it all worked out. Now I just have to wrap my head around how I will do it all!

Congrats to you! I just hit send on a full time application. I have been back in the classroom 1/2 time for 5 years now and thought it was a good year to try for full time.

If mine doesn't work out this year I am so ok with staying part time, I really like having 1/2 the day at home and 1/2 at work. Now full time - that scares me!
