Got my first REAL compliment today...

REALLY!!! Yeah, my DH says I look good, and all...but when I took my alzheimers mom to see her psych. doctor (last time I saw him it was February) and from the second I walked in with her, he was ALL OVER my loss!! I mean....WOW!! He just gushed about it!! I was like THANK YOU!!

You know those moments where you are about to give in to temptation??? Here is my motivation!!! This makes all of it worth it!!!

I just had to share.....any other stories??? I would love to hear them!!

I think compliments are the biggest motivator! Isn't is just great to have someone tell you that you look great? I know I feel pretty proud about my accomplishments when that happens!! Good for you and keep up the great work!!

That's great! I love when people notice, it leaves me feeling so happy for the rest of the day! Recently, my coworker asked me on Saturday if I had lost some weight, I told her I had lost about 14 lbs ... she seemed pretty impressed and we talked for a little while about WW. At the end of the conversation, she told me she was surprised I was on a diet because she didn't think that I needed to lose weight. I told her how much I weighed before starting WW and I think she was surprised

I got my hair cut from long to short recently, so most people that haven't seen me since I started my new wol just think it's the haircut that is different. The only peole that have said anything about how I look are the ladies at the health food store. I think they are my new best friends.

I've had some of the people I work with say I look like I have lost and it does feel great! Funny thing, though, I was at my dr.'s office last week and I kind of expected them to notice I had lost 30 pounds. After all, they do weigh me every time I go. But if they noticed, they didn't say anything. Oh well, maybe when I lose the next 30!

How great for everyone! I know what you mean ... yesterday was a day full of compliments from different co-workers! Went home feeling awesome and even stuck to my points without using any flex points!!

I have my yearly physical with my doctor the end of October and you can be sure that if he and the nurse don't mention my weight loss, I'll be just pointing it out to them I haven't been this weight since 1996 and I think it's worth a mention!!!

I actually for the first time in................ok FOREVER, had a customer tell me I looked skinny and needed to eat!!

Last night I saw a bunch of friends that I hadn't seen since last spring. Since then I have lost over 40 pounds (for a 70 pound total so far), and I can't tell you how many "your haircut looks great!" compliments. I guess getting a haircut makes my face look 70 pounds thinner! Hahahah. (Lots of people noticed the weight loss, too - it was great!)
