I did my one and only onsite stay at Universal last August/early Sept, but did a couple of day trips over there when I was at WDW in Oct, Dec, and May. I stay onsite at WDW several times a year and have done everything everyone suggests to get a WDW Pin (save trips on their site, order planning DVD and maps, fill out all their surveys, call to see if I have a PIN in my account, etc). I have NEVER received a PIN from Disney. Then lo and behold I get a flyer from Universal yesterday. I opened it to find they had sent me a PIN for 40% off any of their three resorts with prices starting at $132.00 for August 21-Oct 6 and Nov 27-Dec 22. It also had a free Harry Potter postcard in it. I've tried everything to get a PIN from Disney, but did nothing to generate this one.

I do have two WDW trips booked that would include the same dates that the Universal Pin covers (Sept 10th-18th and Nov 26th-Dec 4th). I got 35% off CSR for both when I booked with the bounceback deal I had when I was at POFQ in May. I had planned to go over to Universal for a day or two each trip anyway. I'm meeting friends down there in Sept, so wouldn't want to change that trip, but am wondering if I should spend the last couple of days of the Dec trip over at Universal instead of WDW or just spend the entire trip at WDW and use Mears to go over to Universal a day or two. I have an AP for both parks, so don't need tickets.
