Well, congrats on getting your first Disney Files anyway.... He is likely listed on the deed as the main contact. That's my guess as to why it came in his name.

You can send a letter (signed by both of you) and swap the names so you're the "purchaser". The first name gets that title by default and the others are "additional purchaser", but they'll change it if you ask.

Oh, no. It is not that big of a deal. I am just being a bit sarcastic with it.

It's always an exciting day in our household when it arrives. We will keep it in the envelope and put it aside until bed time, then we guess what will be on the cover (of course this issue was pretty easy) and then we each take turns reading it.

So this magazine is for direct and re-sale buyers? I first thought it was for direct buyers only, but other things that are for direct buyers only seem to be pixie dusted to us resale buyers as well.

Nope, they send them to resale owners as well, got our first issue right after we closed on our first contract which as resale.

We do, but lighting is too blame now. It struck our yard hard a couple hours ago .

Yikes!! Glad it didn't hit your house! Lightning hit our house a few years ago and cost us a wad in blown up electronic stuff.

I just got my first magazine as well and was so excited now I just need to make time to sit and read it

I am the primary purchaser, my DH is secondary and it has been that way for 14 years. About 1/2 of our info comes in his name (including this week's Disney Files).

I have called Member Administration, and they confirm that I am listed first, but they can't seem to correct the mailing issues. I finally gave up.

Odd. There is some sort of glitch in the system. I know that I had moved back to Florida by at least 3 years but one screen DVC has access to apparently still showed my out of state address though my mailing address was current, and the one MS always confirmed was current.

Everything including emails come only addressed to my spouse. I asked to have all emails sent to both of us and they did something and I still don't get anything. I find out about most of the emails here on the DIS as DH is a bit forgetful in telling me about the emails.

Nope we have the same last name! It's bizarre because anything DVC sends in the mail we get two of, but only my husband gets emails.
