Got my DME tags Friday!!

Our AAA travel agent mailed ours and we got them today! It makes me excited for the trip all over again!

How far in advance do they send them? I've never used DME before, but we are using it for our Aug trip.

DME sent 6 weeks prior to check-in
package materials sent 5 weeks prior to check-in (if applicable)

if going through a TA, it's all sent to them instead on your behalf

I arrive in WDW a day before you, it would seem. I expect my DME packet to come sometime next week. I've usually gotten the packet about 3 weeks before travel, but they seem to be sending them out a bit earlier lately.
