Got my Disney GCs...now the real question is...

Are they corporate gift cards? I ask because I booked our package through AAA & I'm sure I've read on the DIS that you can use Disney GCs to pay for your package through AAA.

I asked my AAA TA to confirm (you just never know ) & she said that Disney said if it's a "corporate gift card" I could use it but not if it's a Disney Credit Card Reward points...which I thought you could also use towards a package, but it doesn't matter, I don't have that yet...and I won't use it for the package balance...anyway...

Can anyone confirm that those wonderful Disney Gift Cards we get from QR & SR are corporate gift cards that can be used for payment through AAA?

I have not tried to use the "reward" cards yet, but I did purchase $1000.00 worth of GC through SR in Feb. and used those toward my balance with my AAA agent. She took the #'s from the back of the cards over the phone, and I have rec'd my updated balance statement with that amount taken off. It was no problem. From what I understand, the rewards we receive are the same kind of cards, and I am planning on using them toward my AAA package balance as well. Maybe Tricia or someone else can confirm this.

I've seen two different kind of Disney gift cards. It seems like maybe the ones from DisneyShopping.com and the Disney Stores are just a tad bit different (one has the Mickey Mouse ears cut out and is kind of holographic). The ones from Corporate look just like the ones from DisneyShopping. However, all of them have the exact same kind of 16 digit numbers on the back.

It looks to me like you should be able to use both on your vacation packages. If you can't it would be unique to AAA.

I used my disney credit card rewards card to pay off my balance at AAA last November and had no problem!! Hoping to use it again for our next trip too! If they won't allow you to use them, you could always use the rewards card to "buy" a gift card, and that way they don't expire either!!

As long as AAA is making your payment through Walt Disney travel company for you, you can use your gift card or a rewards card. They take both.

Thanks everyone! I sent my AAA TA one of the GC#s to see if it will work! She did mention that I needed an expiration date, but I told her that none of the GCs have them?? We'll see! Thanks again!
