I LOVE this stroller so far!! I have only pushed dd around in the house, but it is just as wonderful as all of my disboard friends said:cloud9:
I got the green and the color is so pretty too:thumbsup2

My dd2 wont get out of it. She is watching her movie in it right now! I did get the snack tray too, since I only paid $14 for it, but I see what you all mean about it being high. I think I will still keep it for Disney, but may not use it for everyday use.

The only question I have is on the fold. When I watched the video on strollerdeopt.com it didnt say that you have to unsnap the straps from the frame. Do you have to snap and unsnap these everytime you fold it. That would be my only complaint if this is true. A bit of a pain, but this is a Wonderful Stroller:thumbsup2 I think someone had posted that there was a way to clip this stroller shut when you fold it up, but it doesnt say anything in the book. Anyone know?

The basket is also bigger than it looked. Thanks again to everyone who suggested this stroller. Thanks especially to MOMTOTWOGIRLS for steering me in the direction for the best place to order! At only $172 it was a MUCH better price than every other place :thumbsup2

Im off to enjoy the stroller some more:cloud9:

Awesome!!! I am so glad you like it!!! No, you definitely don't need to unsnap the straps from the frame. The handle part in the seat (I think it says pull up here or something like that), just pull that up and it will fold for you. I think mine was sticky at first but now it folds with one hand.

I am not sure about clipping the stroller, but I would love to know this as well....

Did you buy the stroller bag or anything for air travel? I am wondering what I will do since probably the air attendants won't know how to close it if it opens. Hopefully someone does know something about clipping it....

Enjoy!!!

You don't have to unsnap anything. All you do to fold is pull the strap that is across the seam of the seat (it is a black strap that says fold on it that runs along the seam where the seat bottom meets the seam back). That is it!! To hold it closed there is a little plastic hook on one side of the frame and it latches onto a little metal nob that sticks out on the other side. It works okay, but good enough. I love my Baby Jogger can you tell!!!

I only bought the stroller snack tray extra. We will be driving this trip:scared1: so no need for a stroller bag.

Well, I guess I will try it again. When I tried to just pull up on the handle, it wouldnt budge. I looked at the manual again and it said to unsnap the snaps and then pull. When I did this, the stroller folded. I will go back and try again with the snaps on and see if it folds for me. I will also look for the latch and knob you are talking about for the locking fold.

Sorry to hijack your thread, but just wondering where you purchased it from? We are looking to purchase the same stroller and would love to get a deal on it!

Are you talking about the gray tabs that snap on each side to the stroller frame? If so, then no you won't be able to fold it while those are snapped together. They have to be unsnapped first.

I am actually not sure whether they need to be used when the child is in the seat but we always snap them anyway. Then we just unsnap and fold...no biggie. But I think by snapping them to the frame, it makes the seat seem a bit more firm.

I think what they are actually meant for is to safeguard your child from being hurt if a person or the child accidently pulled up on the FOLD strap while the child was still in the stroller.

I got it at diapers.com They will price match other places prices and www.albeebaby.com had the stroller for 195 after using discount code 15OFF.
If you are a first time orderer of diapers.com you get a 10% off. You can combine the price match and the 10% off for a first time orderer.

Yes, that is the snap I am talking about. It did seem to make the seat more "stable" when they were snapped. Thanks for posting.

Sooo glad u like the stroller- I knew you would!! Mine is green and I love it too. If you can get the parent organizer -- it is great. I tried all different brands but only the BJ brand fits perfectly on the stroller. We used it alot at disney. The cooler section is great for holding frozen juice boxes.

I have used mine w/o snapping the side straps. They do need to be unsnapped to fold the stroller. When your stroller is folder you can resnap the snaps and it keeps it from opening. Honestly we have never done that.

We drive to disney too. What I love about the stroller is that the wheels all pop off so u can pack it easier in the car. There is a button on the wheels that u can push and they slide off.

Also if you haven't found it yet -- on the back of the stroller when u have the seat in any type of reclined position. If you reach up to the top of the mesh back - you can bring down another solid layer to cover the mesh ventilation opening. I like it when it is windy it keeps the breeze from going thru. Also good when u want it all dark. It store all rolled up. I hope I didn't confuse u.

I did take my crotch strap cover off bc it kept falling over when we folded the stroller to carry it. I didn't want to lose it. I been meaning to make a couple of tacking stitches on it to keep it in place.

Great job on being able to find an awesome price on it! Gotta love a bargain.

Enjoy the stroller. Glad DD likes it too.

I was also looking at this stroller but I am trying to figure out how you got this deal. When you click on the terms for the 15% off on albeebaby it says that the Baby Jogger brand is excluded. So how did you get diapers.com to give it to you?

If you put the stroller in your cart and add the 15OFF code and hit apply, it takes it off. Now that you say that, I do remember seeing that exclusion, but tried it anyway. I was also looking at the Pliko, and when I tried that one in my cart with the code it wouldnt work. When I called diapers.com, the lady said she would have to check their web site to confirm the price. I just told her to put 15OFF in the code box and she said okay. It took her a bit, but came back and said no problem.
I always try codes even when it says something is excluded. You never know:)

I LOVE Baby Jogger strollers and own 2 of them. They are so comfy, smooth, easy to manuever and best of all the 1 pull folding mechanism is soooo great.

One warning to those who may be looking to buy the City Mini, however -- my almost 2 1/2 year old did not fit in it so we had to buy the City Elite. Granted, she is a VERY tall 2 1/2 year old, but if head/leg room is something you are really interested in, I would invest in the Elite. If that isn't an issue, however, the City Mini is a great stroller.
