I'm all set with my ADRs for August. What do you think. I would love suggestions on what to order (or what not to order), etc.

Monday - Arrival Day: Going To DTD then Late Dinner at 'Ohana (8:30)
Tuesday - Animal Kingdom Day: Lunch at Yak and Yeti
Wednesday - Epcot Day: Dinner at Le Cellier
Thursday - HS Day: Fantasmic Dinner Package at Mama Melrose
Friday - Typhoon Lagoon Day (Till about 3pm) Then Dinner At Coral Reef (7:30pm)
Saturday - MK Day 1: Breakfast at Boatwrights (Staying at POFQ)
Sunday - Rest Day: Dinner at Tokyo Dining
Monday - MK Day 2: Breakfast at Grand Floridian Cafe
Tuesday - Departure Day: Playing it By Ear

So what do you think. What time should I leave DTD to get to Ohana and did I leave enough time to get to Coral Reef. What did you guys order and what did you like.?:mickeyjum

These look good! You wouldn't want to leave DTD any later than about 7:30 to get to O'hana. As for Coral Reef, you probably have time to go back to your room and change, as you will also need to plan approx. 1 hr. travel time.

I have been to O'hana (no menu, they just bring you course after course) and it was wonderful! And the other one I have been to was Coral Reef. I ordered the Mahi Mahi and my DH ordered the NY strip. I've gotta say, the NY strip was better!

Hope you have a great time!! :goodvibes

thanks! ohana reservation was made after all the other reservations. at first we were just going to play it by ear but after seeing a travel channel show that had ohana on it DBF decided he really wanted to eat there. I couldn't complain the food looks delicious and the atmosphere is amazing. Did you get to have a window seat. I've been wondering if it would be hard to get one upon arrival since it is a little bit later in the evening.

You're welcome!

To be honest, we did sit right by a window, but we didn't even ask for that! We had an ADR for sometime around 6pm and they were very busy, but we still sat by a window and had a lovely view of their pool, and the Grand Floridian.

Here are a couple of photos to get you even more excited...

Out of the choices of your list, we have only been to Le Cellier. It is a really good restaurant, but if you are unable to get reservations at the time you are looking for, I wouldn't stress over it; there are far better places to eat in Epcot IMHO.

I would leave DTD at 7:00 PM. It is always better to be early than late. :)

We really enjoyed the Boatwright's breakfast... I got the sweet potato pancakes, or whatever the weird sweet specialty they have is... I can't remember... and it was very good! We also were told we could get smoothies as one of our breakfast drinks on the DDP, so we got two of those and they were awesome! :)

Have fun!!

both of my breakfast reservations are for 730am and these are both my MK days. How long do you think it will take to eat and then get to the parks?

Le Cellier is our favorite!! ;) The food (you can't really pinpoint one thing on the menu) is out of this world. I love the cheddar cheese soup especially.

Mama Melrose we liked, too! Very good Italian food. I can't remember what I ate here actually, but I know I liked it very much! That was in 2006. It's good you got the Fantasmic package with it, now you won't have to arrive an hour and 30 minutes before showtime to get your preferred seat! :woohoo:
As for the other places, I haven't tried yet, but they all sound awesome, you have a great variety there!

Yeah, like somebody said leave DTD by 7:00 to get to 'Ohana on time, even though that might seem a little early. Have fun!! :thumbsup2

that doesnt seem to early to me at all. I tend to overthink everything and be on the "rather safe than sorry" side of my planning so I will most probably leave by 7pm. I'm on disney transport though. Should I take the bus to the Poly or spring for a taxi.
