Got my 5 day tkt from airmiles!!

Just ordered it last week and it arrived today via fedex. I ordered the 5 day childs pass in hopes of upgrading it at the gate for the AP. I already have my AP.

Now I am wondering if I should take the chance of them letting me upgrade it or should I just sell it on ebay and put the money towards the cost?

It is a regular ticket on the back I just wish there was a way to know for sure before we go!!!

Although there might be a delay of 24 hours for a response, I found that the customer service people who could be contacted via Disney's website were excellent and able to answer just about any question I posed.

When are you planning on going? We leave in just 18 days, and I got all 5 of our passes from airmiles, and are hoping to upgrade them to APs. I'll post what happens as soon as we return, so if you can hang on, you'll know after the Sept long weekend.

I am going Sept.27th so I will definitely wait and see how you made out. That will still give me time to sell them on ebay before I leave. I hope you have a great trip, and I will be praying you get to upgrade to the AP'S

Oh yeah, did you get the 5 day or 7 day passes? You must be a professional airmiles collector to get 5 passes!!!

I just ordered 2 5 day PHs for DH and I a few days ago - looking forward to getting them! I was debating btwn the PHs or the flight as 2 adult PHs and 3 flights (DH, me and DS) is around the same number of airmiles. I didn't realize you have to pay tax on the flights though, which is about $140/ticket, so we went with the PHs and will look for a sale via WestJet or fly out of Buffalo (we are leaning towards Buffalo as so far Soutwest has been more than half the cost of the WestJet flight!!)

Anyway, I didn't start collecting Airmiles seriously until I hatched this WDW trip idea about 8 mos ago and I managed to save about 4000 miles in that timeframe. Once I got going I found it was easy - the only problem I have is making sure I pay off my Mastercard because now I charge everything - even my son's daycare goes on the card, and boy does that contribute to the Airmiles!!
