Got my 1st Pin Code Kids Stay,Dine & Play Free

It may not be a great deal for everyone, but we have 4 kids 9, 7, 5, and 3 and it would save use BIG BUCKS.

I actually recently did have to cancel our vacation that was going to be the end of April. It would be really great to get to rebook it. We are flexible, though and I would really like to go in the winter, so we are willing to wait for the 'right' deal for us if we don't get this one. But it does sound good for our situation.

We have 4 kids, too, almost exactly the same ages as yours! Will they let you use this pin to get two rooms? They made it sound like it was only good for 4 people.

We have booked more than one room with a PIN in the past. Last time we did it we got two for us and one for grandparents.

I think the general rule is up to 3 rooms but this one could be different.

Let us know if you find out.

I got this code, too.

This sounded like an awesome discount until I priced it out. Turns out, it's only a savings of $273 for 2 adults and 2 children. That's like 15% off. Did I price it out wrong or something? I used ASM (standard room,) from Sunday - Thursday, 2 adults, 2 children, 6 days of base tickets with MYW+Dining and got a total of $1861 and change. This PIN deal would add up to $1588.

That's sneaky - they made it sound like such an awesome deal.

Something's wrong with your math:

2 children 6 day base tickets = $190 + 190 + tax
2 children dining plan x 5 = $10.99 x 10 = $109.90

So you'd save at least $489.90 or 26%

When I did the math, I used the online system and priced out 1a in one room for the 5 nights, then doubled it. At a value, that came out to $2300 with dining and park hoppers.

Then I did the same thing but for four nights and 1a, 2c to compare with the 4/3 offer. That came out to $3200.

I think they always use the "family of four" example as a starting point, but I could be wrong on this one. I haven't seen the deal, but does it mention a limited number of "free kids"?:confused3

You don't double it because the room price is the room price no matter what. So in order to properly price this package, do a room only quote for your dates. Then price out the other components.

Example:

Room Only March 19-24: $726 for 5 nights
Adult Dining Plan: $39.99 x 5 x # of Adults
Tickets: Adults Tickets

The FREE factor is:

# of Children x Tickets for length of stay
# of children x $10.99 for Dining plan x 5 nights

For a 5 night package you will save:

6 Day Base Tickets with 2 kids:
Tickets $190+190+tax
Dining $10.99x2x5
Total Savings: $489.90 (+ some tax)

6 Day Base Tickets with 3 kids:
Tickets $190+190+190+tax
Dining $10.99x3x5
Total Savings: $734.85 (+ some tax)

6 Day Hoppers with 2 kids:
Tickets $240+240+tax
Dining $10.99x2x5
Total Savings: $589.90 (+ some tax)

6 Day Hoppers with 3 Kids:
Tickets: $240+240+240+tax
Dining $10.99x3x5
Total Savings: $884.85 (+ some tax)

Hi,

I only doubled it because we need two rooms. I split the party in half, priced it out, then doubled it. We have 2a and 4c. I think that was a question Jennifer (Trixie15) asked.

Since you have booked this, do you know if you can get more than one room?

I got this pin code, as well and it work perfectly because with all the snow days we have, I had to cancel June trip. This is in our Spring Break time, so it works out perfectly. However, would you mathletes please crunch the numbers for me? I have Pop booked from Mar. 26th- April 3rd with one adult and 2 kids, base tickets. I upgraded to preferred room (supposedly $12/night more). Including trip insurance ($66.95), my trip comes out to $1,295.48. I get that my price includes insurance and tax, but this much? I haven't broken it down and I had one of those lovely CM's that had such a thick accent that I could barely understand her.

Anyone care to see if this is wrong? :scratchin

That can't be right! You must have the 40% off PIN not the KIDS FREE DEAL
March 26-April 3 = 8 nights
Your Room Cost should be: $1283 preferred
Park Tickets 8 day base = 234 + 196 +196 + tax

At 40% off:
Room Cost: $769.80
Park Tickets: $375.60 + tax

So that sounds about right with Insurance on the 40% off offer. That means you saved $763.60 and that's a good deal!

I don't know if you can book more than one room. Seems like Disney would want to book as many rooms as possible!

Last fall I got a PIN for discounted rooms and free dining. They let me book two rooms for my family and one for my inlaws.

I'm sure some PINs have more restrictions, but it is possible to get more than one room with a PIN.

I called about this today. Reservations told me that I could book up to 4 rooms with my pin code.

I got this in the mail late last week, and booked it for a family of 4 for Easter thru the following Friday. My DD turns 7 on Thursday, so this was great timing. The postcard had no code or pin, but when I called Disney Reservations, they knew what I was talking about. I ended up saving only 26%, but still a great deal. Everything, including dining for all of us for under $1900! Not to mention, I called yesterday and I was able to get CRT on my daughter's b-day! Both my girls (and me and my wife), are going to have a great time!

I got this pin yesterday in the mail. But I was wondering, can you use this for 1 adult and 1 child. I read somewhere on there something about double occupancy.

Thanks

OK, this is my problem, too. I goofed up the check in date on my PP. The dates are Mar. 29th through the 3rd. Here is my math (don't laugh).

Tickets for 5 day MYW 10+ $236.43
Meal Plan for 5 days 10+ $199.95
Trip Insurance $ 66.95
_________________________________

$502.33

Total Price of 5 nights/5day passes under this deal as booked is $1,295.48

Which means that my room has NO discount at all (full rack rate of $140/night, since it's a preferred room)

Kids' admission is $398.32 and Dining is $109.99 for the two of them. So I would save $508.31

Is the 4/3 a better deal?

I used this pin to book a trip in April for myself and my daughter. No problem with the fact that there is only two of us.

Melanie, how much was your package?

Well, the orginal deal was with a value resort and non-park hoping. I ugraded to a moderate resort and w/ park hopping. It was $1600 for 5 nights/ 6 days. I have not seen the 4/3 deal during the April 10-17 time that we are going, so I used this pin code. We went in December and it was $1100 w/ free dining for the both us, but I figure the room costs more now. I did priced it out online and it was around $2000. So I did save some $ with the code.

We received this pin. We could go during our kids spring break in March, but there is no availability at any of the value resorts. We are a family of 6 and always get two connecting rooms at a value. If I have to bump up to a moderate or deluxe resort, that negates the whole reason for using a discount pin code!
