Has anyone else got this? They added four new resorts into the concierge collection -
one being Atlantis in the Bahamas. Now that caught my eye.
Any guesses how many points that will be?!?

I heard Harborside at the Atlantis was listed in the world passport collection but was removed because it was to hard to book.

Exciting Changes to Vacation Options in Member Getaways Program
Disney Vacation Club is always evaluating vacation options in our Member Getaways program and continually seeking ways to enhance the program in the best interests of our Disney Vacation Club Members. We are pleased to announce the addition of four premier properties to the Disney Vacation Club Concierge Collection: The Fairmont San Francisco; Hotel Del Coronado, San Diego; Mandarin Oriental Washington D.C.; and Atlantis, Paradise Island, Bahamas. Each property will offer Disney Vacation Club Members fabulous new experiences.

Reservations for The Fairmont San Francisco, Hotel Del Coronado, and Mandarin Oriental Washington D.C. are scheduled to begin August 4, 2004 for stays starting on or after January 1, 2005. Reservations for Atlantis, Paradise Island, Bahamas are expected to start at a date to be announced later in 2004 for stays starting on or after January 1, 2005.

We will also say farewell in 2005 to five hotels currently in the Concierge Collection: Claremont Resort & Spa, Doral Golf Resort & Spa, Windham Hill Inn, Woodstock Inn & Resort, and The Jefferson. These hotels will remain a part of the Concierge Collection for current reservations and future reservations through December 31, 2004.

Do you think it would be worth it to stay at Atlantis with points while cruising?????? :wave2:

The "Del" in Coronado would be great! But, the first thing that comes to mind is renting points and paying cash there. We'll see how much it is, but it won't be cheap, I know that.

Doral is gone? Poop, that was the only decent resort listed that didn't require a million points.

I'm so sorry to hear that Woodstock is leaving! When you went in Jan. you got free rentals and lift tickets and the most wonderful breakfasts included and the hotel was just beautiful! Our lovely room had a view of the huge snowfilled courtyard, with trees covered in white lights. They had great childrens programs too and free afternoon tea. If you like to ski, do your family a favour and try this hotel before it's gone!
I think we will have to make a non-points visit once our DD is a little older...

Remember the Marriott timeshare at Doral is there and still on the DVC list.

At say 80-100 points a night, I doubt it.

I am trying not to get too excited! I really like the selection! I live about 1/2 hour north of Baltimore, and we occasionally like to go to the Kennedy Center in D.C. Actually, when we went last week, I thought it would be nice to spend the night...one night at the Mandarian Oriental would be really fun. Also the San Diago and Bahama choices are cool. Neat! When you consider how much it would cost w/o points... HECK YEAH it will be well worth it!

I was upset when I heard that it used to be on the list and then was taken off before we even became members.

Looks like we have to get "two tickets to paradise" :teeth:

Did the letter say Atlantis or anychance it would be at the Harborside!!! We stayed there once when we owned Starwood, and loved it, our only regrets selling Vistana is that we don't have the option of going to the Harborside!!

Haborside is the timeshare and was on the DVC exchange list through II and has been removed. I'm sure this is the hotel itself and will be about the number of points equal to about $5 per point.
