Ok - just doing my civic duty and updating the masses on their progress on the 2006 wait list. Just got called on our Cat 1 wait list for 7/1/06 yesterday. Yes, it is much more expensive and they seem to have doubled the deposit to $500 per person. My SIL got one of the Cat 2's. So, now I get to plan for another 18 months. LOL!!

Anyway, good luck to all those still waiting. I jumped for joy when I heard the message on the machine. And, yes, they will leave a message with your reservation number, date and an 800 number to call them back. Just call them back to confirm.

How exciting! I got a call about the Roy suite for August 19,2006.

We are taking it....do you mind me asking...how much you are paying? I just wanted to see if it is much different from our price.

Thanks so much :)

Skuba2- We're on the 7/1/06 sailing also!!::yes::
I have started a thread on the cruise meet board!

Any kids?
In our party we will have a 5 1/2 year old boy :earsboy: and a 15 year old girl:earsgirl:

No problem. We are paying $13835 for 5 of us. And u? Can you imagine the cost closer to the cruise?

We will have 3 kids---G turning 12 on 7/2, G 8 (just shy of 9) and a B turning 5 on 7/7. All summer babies. This will be my son's first cruise and the rest of us our 3rd Disney cruise.

I actually find it fun to book so far out. It prolongs the excitement.

It is really fun getting to know people online and then seeing them onboard. I will definitely hang out on the cruise meets board. I made a good friend from MA on the last cruise in April.

we are paying 10,616.12 :) Your price is not bad for peak season. ;)

Thanks,

Travis

Travis.. if you dont mind me asking.. how many people is the $10K for .

I am on the same cruise as you and always wondered what my family of 4 would cost in a suite..

Ginny

winnyis....that is for 4 adults...no children. I'm happy with the price. :)

Travis

Travis - I agree for 4 adults that sounds pretty good for the categoy 1.

It would have been $12400 without my young one. It is 4th of July week and so I guess peak. I just knew it was the first week no school in the northeast. We paid in the 10's this year for 4 of us during peak.

Just a caution---I had them fax over my confirmation and it has me in main seating instead of early. Need to call and change that ASAP.

I thought that main seating is early seating and that late seating is called late... ???

Now where were you when I was reading my fax. LOL!! I just got confused for a minute--but it is worth double checking your ressie when you are transferred. I thought it was early and late since I read so much around here about the "early" dinner seating. The CM said the same thing you did when I asked her. :o
