Got into AK!!!

I'm so excited!!! We've only stayed in our own resort (BWV's) since we bought in. When we went in March, tried for AK but was unable to get in. Well, I called for an April trip and got a room at the lodge!!! Right now, I'm torn between buying points there (loved AKL when we stayed there)or buying property (or an existing home) there since we keep buying and adding points!!! )

congratulations! We'll be there too, April 16-19th in a value studio! I really don't care if wedon't get a view, we'll be out of the room all the time and going to those beautiful window views everywhere. Then we're going over to the BCV's for 7 more days. Are you from the Boston area and going on school vacation?

Neither...We are from CT...no school vacation...we just use our points two-three times a year because we both have VERY stressful jobs and NEED to get away that often.

Well be there 4/6-4/11! got a studio w/a sv!!! I'm so excited. My 18 month old will love to see all the "cows"!

Last time we were there, in August she was fascinated by the animals and kept pointing and saying.."Cooowww" Then she'd moo!
So whether it is a giraffe, zebra, wildabeast, or gazelle...if it had 4 legs it was a cow!

Every bird there was a duck! "quack-quack"!

We are staying in a studio SV. I am very excited. We are going to be a bit crowded, me, DH, DS, DDL, and beautiful 21 month grandbaby Emma. I am looking forward to the view. I am hoping to do some research to find best spots. Normally it is just me and DH. But with a baby we will be spending more time at the room (naps, later start). I told DH, this will be WAY different than all our previous trips! WE usually come and go as we please. I can't wait to sip my coffee from the balcony at sunrise! It's my favorite time of day. WE will hopefully be heading to the Gulf Coast for 4 days to relax and 4 nights at AKV. My DS has a time share over there (waiting to book ...not as flexible as DVC). WE are saving our points for a trip to Aruba in November 08. I love that we can plan trips so far in advance!
