it has meaning
the butterfly represents my mom
the two symbols inthe heart are my DD's zodiac signs
the flowers were my grandmothers fave

i will be getting soon
it represents my Grandfather who is passing away any day now
I will be changing the flowers a bit

No I was going to get one for my 40th but it past by . I still have one I designed it's a small tribal mask with DD's inituals making the mask. It looks good I just haven't done it yet.

I have two. Wanted more, but never got around to it, not sure if I ever will now.

First one, was just because I wanted one.

Second one, Mother/Son outing.

I have 3. I have the Egyptian Eye of Horus on my right leg, just above the ankle bone. On my left leg, in the same area, I have the symbol from the Duran Duran video New Moon on Monday. Just above that, I have a sun, to symbolize the Duran Duran song Reach Up For the Sunrise. The "old" Duran Duran reaching up for the "new."

I was going to do intertwined "D"s (one forward and one backward), then underneath that, a forward "Duran" and a backward "Duran," but then I saw that John Taylor has the same tattoo (I think his is just the intertwined "D"s, though). I thought it would be cheesy to copy him, even if I thought of it first.

The red rose is for my mom. She was a rose lover (even has them on her gravestone) and I got it almost exactly 10 years after she died. The teeny hidden Mickey is because I love Disney and my mom was the one who got me hooked in the first place!

Yes, I have a few.

On my left "shoulder" (over my heart) there is a small vine with a heart and two flowers. The blue flower commemorates a concert my brother and I went to.

On my right outer thigh I have a sun and a moon. They both kinda "represent" my birthday July 1 (since that's when I got them)...the sun because it's summer, and the moon because it is related to my zodiac sign.

I've been thinking of another, but haven't decided what or where yet.

I have one. Got it on my 30th birthday. It's on my right shoulder. It's a pic of the globe with the continents and a peace sign superimposed over it.

I showed my Dad and he rolled his eyes, groaned and said, "Bad enough you got a tattoo, but you had to go and get one SO liberal???!!!" When he said it, we both stared at each other and just busted a gut laughing about five seconds later.

I have a thin floral band around my right ankle. I had wanted one for almost eight years when I finally decided to just get it done. No special meaning--I just thought this one was pretty.

I'm thinking of getting another one--just something small that can be hidden if needed--but I just can't decide what I want.

I have 2 small hearts with a flower on each side on my left ankle. Just something I really liked. Been wanting to get another. Not sure what to get or where to get it.

Thought about my zodiac sign or my kids initials. Have to do some more thinking about it. Also have to find a really good place to go.

None yet... I keep waiting until I loose weight - wouldn't want it to shrivel up, but that weight just wont go away...

I'm also I germ freak! I'm so afraid the needles or ink wouldn't be sterile... (nothing against the tat. places, I freak out a the doc's office too...)

Three, actually:

First one is a crown with a crossed hammer and maul behind it which represents the school and college I graduated from.

Second is a shark. Originally wanted a dolphin, but liked the shark design that was on the wall.

Finally, a kokopelli with my DSs name in the middle of it. This one I designed myself and my DW and I both have it (in different spots in different colors).

If I were to get a remotely Disney related one, it would be Jack Skellington.

YEP....got Tink above my right ankle. Going in a few weeks to get a Heart & Dagger with a banner that says "Keep The Faith" on my left ankle (you Bon Jovi fans will understand). Tink to reflect my one passion and my sweet and innocent side, Heart/Dagger to reflect my Bon Jovi passion and my rock'n'roll side. I'm a Gemini and these are my twins.

I have an American Flag Mickey head on my front right hip that really only my wife sees and I guess guys in the gym locker room might. Just above my right ankle I have an Icthus symbol with the Greek letters for Jesus Christ God Son Savior.

I am a little late finding this thread, but I would like to show mine.

This is on my back and is my zodiac. I did not draw it myself, but it is a custom design that my artist and I came up with.

This one is my German Mickey. Unfortunately, this is a bad pic of it that makes it look crooked. It shows my love of Disney and my heritage.

I got both from a shop in Kissimmee. It was not because of a vacation thing though. I already knew the artist from when we both lived in Louisville, KY.
