Got Home Yesterday

We drove in on Thursday evening. No traffic from Vegas to Anaheim! The weather and the crowds were fine on Friday and Saturday. No problems from the fire. It drizzled once in a while on Saturday but no big deal. Had EE on Saturday. Headed straght for Nemo. Was the third family on line! But . . . Nemo was experiencing technical difficulties. We finally got on the ride at about 7:40 am. Kind of a bummer to have to wait, but at least we were at the front of the line. Used fastpasses and never had to wait more than 20 minutes for a ride. Overall we had a great weekend. The only small disappointment was on our EE day. We arrived at the park at about 6:30 am. We were second in line at the security checkpoint. There was only one line at first. Then they opened another line pulling people from the back of our line. They held us in line until about 6:50. Then they finally started searching bags. Needless to say, people started running after going through the security checkpoint to get in line at the gate. We didn't run so lost our front place in line. I don't understand why they don't work this in a more orderly fashion. If they had let us in as we arrived there wouldn't have been such chaos. Oh well, I'll get off my pedistal (sp?) now. In the end it didn't really effect us, just annoying.

We will definately be back. We upgraded to annual passes!

Hi Carole,
We live in Las Vegas too (Henderson actually) and were there this weekend too. Boy was I jealous when the honorary grand marshall was a kid from Henderson! We bought AP's too and go about once a month. The drive isn't too bad; Dfi does all the driving and I watch my portable DVD player.
We keep hoping to get dreamed, but so far nothing....Maybe we are too old.

Glad to hear your trip went well. At least over all anyways. And YAY on the annual passes!!!

We had a great time too. No traffic for us either on Friday morning. I was surprised how much smoke there was though, especially as we got closer to Barstow. But then there was none in Anaheim, so that was good.

Anyways, just wanted to say I'm glad you all had a fun and safe trip.

I'm in Vegas too! Sadly, we wont be back in Disneyland till December (we made a trip in August and 1st week of October- yipee for annual passes!!)
I want to go back sooner, but DH would leave me there, I'm sure.

LOL Now you sound like me! We just went this past week-end and have plans to go back in December. BUT I was tossing around the idea of going back in November. However, I think my DH would not like that idea one little bit.

But I agree.... yippee for annual passes!!

I'm also trying to figure out if I can go in November. Yikes! It's like an addiction!
