Got half a day in anaheim, what should we do

So, we have a Monday where we don't have any plans until the rest of our family gets into the SNA airport at 4:00 pm (then off to the ocean). What should we do that day? Any fun things to do in anaheim? We could go an extra day to the park, but already have 2 days at DL and 1.5 days at CA (but it's so cheap to add the 5th day). On a budget...so we can't just go to another amusement park.

Just wondering if there is something fun to do close that I just may not know of.

Thanks for the help!

Why can't you just go to Knott's, its basic Advance Purchase Price would be about the same as an add-on day at Disneyland? (About $43 per person)

Alas, the Dinner Shows in Buena Park are normally evenings, though they occasionally do afternoon shows. Medieval Times and Pirate's Dinner Theater.

The Discovery Science Center is nearby, as is The Outlets at Orange and Main Place Mall, both have entertainment options, but you are still looking at the $40 or so per person option.

Adventure City is good if you have young ones and cheaper than Knott's. Same general area. Price is about $17.95 per person.

I would add the 5th day--there is so much to do and see at Disneyland and the cost of adding a 5th day is a good budget stretching strategy.

If Knotts fits in your budget, I'd recommend going to Knotts and enjoy that different experience, then all start your Disney vacation together.

Do you have young kids? The discovery science center is fun and not too expensive. Otherwise, add the 5th day.

Thank you everyone! We may just do an extra day as it is only $15 a person. We don't have young kids (8 years old and older). I'd love to do Knotts, but that would be a lot too.

We have been to DL and Knotts many times before, but haven't been since 2011. I think it will seem new, but we are also bummed about a lot of of favorite rides being closed during our late Oct visit.
